My own thread by: FDSeoul
I just wanted to start and maintain a thread for myself and share with others my personal joy and pain of owning a 93VR touring 5speed(while making/meeting some great people).
*****please Don't be offended by anything that i post and please excuse me for my ignorance!!! ENJOY!!!! cause Life ******* Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!
The Journey begins-------all those who know me here on the forum and in San Diego are welcome to comment or simply bitch and complain along with me!!!
Thanks for being someone in my life.
Here We Go......................
I start with a 93 VR touring Model which i Bought with 25K Original miles and well what can i say. I have always Loved the 3rd Gen ever since they were first introduced back in the days(92-------) when I was Rocking a Integra and what ever Honda was putting out.
Now after about 14years later finally got one and in VR. Yeah!!!!

here is a picture of her(taken by teddy on My first pie run)
93 touring with 25K miles on her(not driving a rotary does more harm than anything else)
One of the first things that i wanted to do was TLC, Change the things that needed and went and dried up and broke off(the list is long)!!! All the oils and hoses(vac line, change all fluids, not just the motor oil but the trani, power steering, radiator and plugs and what ever was needed to bring her back to ZERO)
*i believe that one of the most common mistakes people make on an older cars in general is putting on Mods before TLC!!!! this is why people have/had bad experiences with FD and all it's glory..........

one of the first things that i attended to:
just being old the bushing on the shifter was cracked!!!! picked up a RE-A shifter for the new unit.
UR pulley for the power steering pump!!! the original one had dried and separated from it metal spline(who knew that this would cause my fd to sound like it was super charged, the pulley was stationary from the belt tension but cause a harmonic buzz that was unbearable.
