my car got stolen!!! i'm offering a $1000+ reward
#29
my parents said they'd put some money in on the reward. i don't know how much, but the cash part is well over $1000 now
AND
i'll build a half-bridge (or streetport if you prefer) for the reward too.
that puts the reward value between $3k and $3500 for info leading to the capture of the sick piece of **** that jacked my pride and joy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that's enough money and goodies to make it worth your while to maybe just pop by some shady shops in your area and have a bit of a look... you don't have to interogate anyone or anything, but maybe just have a look.
it's not about the money. that car was sentimental to me. even if i had the opportunity to own a lamborghini or something like that, i swear i would still rather drive my fc. (i'd like the money from the lamborghini though...i'd get the fc painted )

Man this car must really mean a lot to you. It's awesome that you have so many caring people willing to help you out. I just hope the actual thieves dont try to cash in with the reward. Good luck.

i honestly don't know how i'd deal with that... the reward is geared more towards finding the scumbag as opposed to the car. i know i'll get the car back....shell anyway and i'll start building it all over again.
but if i get the guy that stole it, i get everything back.

to give you an idea of how much i love this car, i have had the vin number momorised for the last 2 1/2 years.
based on how many people are online, i'll bet it was someone on this site.

After the meetup and leaving in the morning I'd have assumed the Ontario Mall was just a place that we met up, who would think to go back there and check for FCs to steal? Unless they knew that you car would be there for sure.
So who knew you didn't pass the "bomb squad" crap??
If no one really knew, I'd say you're looking for a Fontana/Ontario local who is stripping the car down, and is either going to sell them to local places/people/rotorheads, or if he's unlucky he'll try to sell them on eBay and everyone on this half of the country will swarm in to beat the **** out of him.

Sorry about the car dave. Can you give a little bit of a better description of the red fc's. I've seen one in the Fontana area. And we can keep our eyes out for those fc's. Not accusing them but hey, ta never know.

I've always see a red vert at the ontario mills parking lot. Could this be one of them? Im sure this person works there. It's usually parked close to the valet parking in the very last spaces before reaching the street that divides the mall and the movie theater.
I'll also keep an eye out for your car and let you know if I see something.

That really sucks man. I can only imagine what you'd feel like............
I'll keep an eye open in my area as it should stand out and let the other FC guys know. Also, I know its a long shot but my friend told me there were two guys hanging out the RX7 corral on saturday who looked really suspicious, eyeballing FC's specifically. I'll try to get you any info I can on them for what its worth.

Junkie, here's some screencaps from the movie I was talking about. Wanna point out which ones are them? (The two that are together in the caps were TWO cars behind you in the line)
Sorry the quality sucks, like I said it's a low res video. =/ The caps are kinda dark, the movie is brighter so you can see things a little clearer, but this is just to give you an idea.

more info i forgot to post...
c's short shifter with an incredibly unique shift ****... it is an austrailian red back spider encased in plastic. the spider looks similar in size and shape to a black widow, but the entire *** is red--not just a violin. try finding that in the states...
my brother sent that shift **** to me when he was in australia...very sentimental!!
