Moving to Torrance/Gardena area help

Hey everybody, I am still in debate to as what area of socal I want to move to and now its down to the Torrance/Gardena area or possibly Irvine, but I was just wondring what are the ups and downs about the area, why you hate it there or why you love it there, traffic cost of living things like that so any insight from those that live there would be of help thanks

Im in gardena, it is fairly quiet in MOST areas and a new shop opened up where R&D dyno was. You do get some sea breeze and your close to the ocean which is a plus. Gardena is going to be the cheapest out of the choices listed too. IMO the south bay area of LA is the best place to live in consitering all the trades offs.

I live in Huntington, nice area, traffic isn't too bad for me, and I have to commute to LAX. Irvine is really nice, but really pricey, and they crack down hard on anyone with anything done to their car.
