Casey,

The paint on your FD looks really good. I wouldn't have a problem dropping my FC off for 6 weeks, but my wife's FD couldn't be down that long. What is his pricing like?

And just to let you guys know, some of the Bay Area people as well as some of the NorCal 7 people are planning a weekend road trip to Reno this summer if you guys are 21 and would like to go. We are going to go up, drink, and gamble for a weekend.

No Manuela Mateo, I didn't forget hookers. The only thing I do with hookers is throw empty beer bottles at them whilst they walk past me. That is quickly becoming a Zach and Nader official past time.

That sounds awsome. I would love to go to reno Im sure the wifey would like to go to.

Zach, My buddy is pretty good on the price if you let him do it at his own speed. His shop is always really busy so he does these cars on the side. He did my car minus the front fenders and bumper for 1000 bucks. But I doubt it will be quite that cheap. What do you want to get painted? I can ask him.

Oh yeah by the way Im just about to drop in my new engine, new turbo and new front mount. The only thing left to do is wait for steve kahn to come to norcal.

Casey, I'll need my TII painted Porsche Arctic Silver (or something that is damned close) and my wife's FD will need to get painted the same titanium grey color as the Spirit R. Unfortuneatly both cars are red as of right now. So if you can find out I would surely appreciate it.

Hey Matt, why don't you just hold off on painting the GXL until you get a new sunroof? That and you should get one of the fiberglass replacements that I'll be selling soon.

Sorry for the thread hijack. We now return you to your regularly scheduled program.

I was just curious is all. =P

Sides if I ever got my car painted I'd have to buy S5 bumpers and moldings first.

Yeah. A old lady acctually kinda bumped my car behind my passenger side rear wheel and he fixed that shaved the antenna, shaved the rear wiper and did all the body work, and paint. And they insurance payed for it all and about a thousand extra. But like I said before I went to high school with this guy so I get a extra special deal. Also he has been doing straight up insurance work fixing kia's and toyota for so long that he is sick of it. so he likes to do custom work now.

Well, ask him about the two cars I mentioned and see what he has to say. There are several minor dents on the FC, but the FD's body is pretty nice.

Definately want to color change the door jams. But I'm not sure if we'll have the time to pull everything out of the engine bay. But if you would ask him about both ways I would really appreciate it.
