I just took possesion of a 1983 RX-7 that is in need of some TLC. It is in great shape but has not been even started for several years. I would appreciate any suggestions for a good mechanic in the San Fernando Valley/Conejo Valley/Simi Valley areas who can evaluate the car, change all the fluids, and above know the proper procedure for starting the car after having been sitting for so long. Thank you.

 

Rob @ rotaryshack is closer to you. He is just north of Northridge Mall. I can do it also but kinda far, in the Dodger stadium area.

As far as a good mechanic? You may find one, but in the long run.. You'll find yourself becoming your Rx7's Doctor. It wont take long, hehe
