If Meiogirl can'yt use the room, some one call me, and we'll make sure you get the room.

John, I just cannot put my family through another hell week. I could easily have had the car back together, and tuned it Saturday at 7s Only @BW, but that would be three weeks in a row of building the car, and that is a bit much for Mother's Day weekend IMHO. Afraid I will not be there Carl Byck

I don't think overnight camping is allowed but contact Buttonwillow Raceway to confirm.

You can stay overnight at the raceway if you have a camper or trailer but they'll charge you a fair amount for the "hook up" fee. It usually ends up being cheaper to stay at a motel. I don't think they'll let you camp in a tent.

Thanks for clarifying JM. Besides if that wind kicks up your tent will be flying across the 5 frwy.

Well... looks like we should get lucky with the weather on Saturday. It's raining a lot at BW today and probably will tomorrow too. But Saturday has a clear forcast and a nice 76 degrees.

Thumbs up

It was a fun day! I got to ride w/ Dave Lemon(Mazdatrix) in his EP 1st gen....He was drivin' like he was out for a sunday cruise. Rode w/ Wayne Graham (Mariah Motorsport) in the Jim Downing RX-3....SWEET!!!! Also got a ride w/ Henry in his pink FC. That boy can drift! Very smooth transitions. I'm impressed. That pink car gets chicks!
I missed a ride w/ Kyle, but I'll catch up w/ him later. Randy Pobst is a very personable/approachable race driver. Great guy to talk to. Got to ride in the Mazdaspeed 6 w/ Weldon (MNAO) as the pilot. He can make that car dance! With a full load of passengers no less!

Too bad for the kid from up north.....totalled his BRAND NEW 6 comin outta the esses.
Never seen such a sad sight....but thats what insurance is for!

Brad P. Ima just call you "slick" LOL.....

And thanks to the organizers from MOCC! Great job! I'm glad to have been there!

And I got an autographed calendar from SPICY!

I was there, WOW! it was awesome. Driving that track was something soooo much fun. I'll post some picks soon.

Brad , aka "slick" did have a bad day, that sucks man. If it was'nt the slick, it was getting stuck out in the grass.

Had a great time and my FD didn't break so I consider that success! Much thanks to Bernie for helping put together a really nice event. I had a fantastic time on the track and socializing off the track. I hope to see everyone at the next one if not sooner!
