there are some examples from this august site if you still believe I'm mental and this is the creation of a fevered mind. Not to say they disprove such a hypothesis, but well...you won't be the first. Though delivered with far better grace than most, kind sir, if I may say so

....anyway, B&M shifters are nice not just because of the spring loaded firm and positive action, the direct OE-quality replacement excellence of build or the fine machining tolerances that are simply redolent of top-notch engineering prowess, but most importantly because they're BLUE anodised, and that's gotta be good for at least 10 bhp. Or mph. Or whatever arbitrary figure of your preference...eBay ones are, in my humble experience, ****

lol. Nope, although I may have cribbed some of the numbers from Brian Longs RX-7 history book ....

My shop neighbor has a genuine 12Aturbo sitting in one of his FBs in the back of his shop, runs and everything. It's very nifty but at 150hp or so not very fast lol.
Oh and no they did not come with an intercooler stock.

I've had the ebay shifter on my FD for 3 yrs now with ZERO problems. But I did mod it a bit by polishing to a mirror finish where the metal touches the poly, used an expensive synthetic grease and used a brand new factory poly instead... G'luck!

On topic: I've heard good things about ebay shifters and the Mazdatrix shifter as well. However, gofastgtr (https://www.rx7club.com/showpost.php...20&postcount=7) makes a valid point in that Mazdatrix is the one that did the proper research and development for the part, and will continue to make products as long as we support them. They're in the rotary game for life, unlike the knock off brands who are there to make a quick buck using the lowest quality production they can get away with.

^ I agree but if you can get something for half the cost and it is just as good I would totally get the cheaper one. Of course it's people like me who probably forced Racing Beat to make some of their stuff in Taiwan lol.
