hello all just wanted to let the marines that are stationed on camp pendleton that i received my orders there in october! hopefully there is some rotary action that i can get into. cause in pensacola there were NO ROTARIES.. cant wait to bring mine to pendleton. btw i'm not just someone that 'likes' rotaries or 7's' i'm a rotary addict! and everything to do with em interests me. i've learned on my own to build my motors and worked on EVERYTHING on my 7 alone. im sure i'm not the only one that likes knowing they do there own work!

 

Nice, I was stationed there from 2005 - 2011. Look up Alex Rodriguez and gofastgtr, good people to know. I'm not sure if the Camp Pendleton Rotary Meet still goes on Wednesday @ 1200 on mainside.

 

hey thanks for the reply! how did u like pendleton? i've been in for a year now, but finally about to finish school. yeah i've sum hwat talked to alex on the club a few times. seems like a cool guy! his 7 is sick. i was surprised when i saw his car in a magazine. I LOVED it there! I also love it here in Oki! Yeah, his 7 is sick. Yeah, it's Super Street, January 2011 issue. I'm not sure if Alex kept the meet going, but we used to have a Rotary Meet every Wednesday @ 1130 - 1245 on Mainside by the Johnny Rockets Diner. Also, keep your car registered where ever it is you lived before the Corps. It will save you ALOT of trouble. California is the WORST place to have a rotary registered..lol.

Well, I'm pretty sure that the Corps only required smog to get your car registered on base and to get a decal. Well, now they don't issue out base decals so i'm not sure. I got my REX completely stock in 2007 and I had it registered on base then. You didn't need to re smog to get updated decal dates, atleast i never did. no problem.

 

so they stopped completely on the DOD stickers? if thts the case thats good on my part. my 7 wouldnt get near to passing the smog test! well i havent heard good news like this in forever. haha. thanks again. keep having a blast in oki brotha. hopefully i'll check a chance to go there! i want to ship back parts for a RHD conversion one day. or maybe just buy a front clip in the states. later man

We will begin the meets again in a few weeks. This summer hasnt been good to many cars. Blown motors, crashed ,and unfinished business has slowed the meets.
