Charlie: I'll be there tonight around 7 or so. Gotta let the weather cool off a bit to for better tuning on the 1JZ (gotta get ready for Vegas Formula D)
I got my camcorder at my side in the office, charging her up LOL

Nah I'm going only to run 1 hour and ride along the rest of the day. Hoping to get hours of tons of footage from all sorts of different angles like the front bumper hood roof side mirror incar etc.

Yeah ebay camera mounts... they are the suction cup ones.. You can probably make some bolt on types to replace side mirrors or make some to mount to the front bumper.

I'd rather test it on the inside of the windshield first. Protect your camera you know?
I'm having problems with my clutch pedal. Apparently it's a known factory defect with rx8s. The bracket snapped I think and there is a lot of slack in the pedal. (side to side) It isn't too much of a problem right now I just hope it doesn't rise into a big dookie.

Yeah I'm going to call mazda on monday to see if it's under warranty. If not I'm probably going to stop driving it until I get a enforcement bracket or make my own.. since the cheapest one I see is 125$ and it looks really simple to make.

I was thinking of just re spot welding the OEM bracket where the original welds broke to fix it. Several guys have done it and the worse of the bunch accidently fried a few wires while welding lol
