Monday: living the life of a UC Davis student
monday morning, i wake up around 11 because Mysa came back from her class... sleep was pretty crappy because of the light fever and hardcore colds/sinuses i have. woke up with a sweaty back too.... guess my body's fighting off the sickness or some sort.
i wake up and shower it up to start the day and went to the kitchen to help cook bruch/lunch. i came a lil late into the kitchen because she was choppin' up the veggies for the fried rice and the omelet already. since most of the duties were already fulfilled, i cracked 5 eggs and scrambled them in the bowl. poured it into the pan with the onions, green bell peppers, and the tomatoes, and prolly let it sit on the pan for a good 5 minutes on "high". yes, i forgot to flip it over, so one side of the omelet looked like a pancake while the other was fairly cooked. fail. haha i should just stick to cooking rice.
but i have to admit, when i woke up and showered, i felt all out of it. like, my body was there, but my mind wasn't present. weird as it may sound, i'm assuming it's because i'm sick and what not. freakin fever and ish. well, the whole morning was like that until i got to the school...
after the meal, we went to the bus stop and took the bus over to UC Davis. i had to put my $1 in the lil box since i wasn't a student (damnit, used money already. lol). anywho, we sat down and waited for the bus to take us to UC Davis. first thing i noticed about the bus and their drivers... they weren't wearing uniform. assuming that it's a bus company, they'd have to wear some sort of semi-uniform-like attire, but they were wearing normal clothes. not even a bright neon yellow or orange vest! after asking Mysa, she said that all the bus/shuttle drivers for the school are actually students themselves. shoot, after i heard that, i'd be down to be a bus driver. LOL anywho, i thought that was pretty cool... other than the seat that the bus driver was sitting on said "RECARO" on it. i pointed out to Mysa and she pretty much just rolled her eyes. basically had that feeling "ugh, boys and their cars." i just chuckled to myself. haha
we arrive at the school after a good 10 minute drive through the city (Davis looked pretty chill... they even have an In-N-Out!) we prolly got there around almost 2. we hit up a couple of Mysa's professors cuz she wanted to talk to them about class business and what not so i'm pretty much tagging along with her for the whole way. if you've never been to UC Davis, you prolly never seen the most busiest bike place in the world... (well, to me it was. ) literally, EVERYBODY is biking. of course, you get the occasional skaters. i don't even know how you can skate on those rough roads. -____-" it was pretty rad when i almost took part on being a spectator of a bicycle accident, but homie saved himself. lol it was at the lil bike traffic circle... and i thought pedestrians have the right of way... psh, you gotta dodge those bike people. their momentum is gonna be disrupted if they just stop for people crossing the street.
my day was pretty much following mysa to her classes... first was her bio class. pretty chill, big lecture hall. i had to participate for one of my old classmates back in HS. he broke his hand so he wasn't able to attend class therefore took his class "clicker" thingy for classroom participation. i guess it was pretty cool getting the answers right for a student who's never even been to that class. even mysa got 1 wrong. mwhahaha! freakin redox, phosphate stuff, etc. lol
after that class, we went to the library to chill since she had to study for her classes. so while she studied with her friends, i jumped on my laptop for the first time since this whole trip and did my first blog post whatever for the thread. =P had to cut it short cuz we went to Mysa's psychology class afterward. that class was long, but at least the teacher slipped in videos and comic strip cut outs in the powerpoint presentation. pretty funny too. that class was pretty epic... 2 hours. i was just texting and waking up Mysa when she started to fall asleep.
as soon as class was over, Mysa and I met up with her friends to hit up a tapioca house. Quickly was the place we went to. same like those other boba places such as Tapioca Express, Boba Loca, Blenders, etc. was still kinda sick so i just got a Thai Tea. couldn't really rock the ice stuff cuz it'd be too cold. we basically ate, drank our drinks, and chatted it up, trying to get to know Mysa's friends lil better. pretty chill folks; i could find myself hanging out with them.
as soon as we finished, i stopped by Save Mart next door to buy some Nyquil then we went home. finished up blog for the San Jose trip and pretty much chilled. slept early too since the Nyquil kicked it.
now it is Tuesday morning, everybody's gone except Mysa's two other room mates... i'm supposed to be in Sacramento by 11ish to meet up with my cousins for lunch... but i'm here still catching up with the updates and what not. at least i get to drive the FC today. didn't start her up yesterday. as far as health goes, i'm feelin' a bit better, woke up fine with no sweat.
well, i'll update the forum a lil more later. i guess my cousin lives near Vineyard? off the 99? ****, it's about 40 minutes... fack. anywho, i better cut the chase. it's 20 minutes till 11, and i still haven't got ready.
stay tuned...
