yeah price will be shipped to my house, and then people can pick it up. Depending on what shipping costs it can cost a little more or less than 210. I think 200 is too little esp w/ the horrible exchange rate of 93 yen/ 1 dollar.

I'll be in the LA area mid/early August. I'm definitely interested in these parts. Seeing as to how I won't be home until August I can't confirm yet. Love the first reply to the thread!

I took Ramy's quote in reference to that thread. I never found the original quote, or maybe it was in person, and not in the internet. I am not sure.
However, I would not do a group buy on something if I did not believe that the products do work. I know that they do work, and have seen it plenty of times in the GT-R and Rx7 Community here, and in Japan.
There is a pair of nagisa braces coming in my for my R too.

Gotcha. I wanted to see the quote in full perspective.
Seems like a pretty cool product.

Hey I just got an email from a company who also sells these braces. Here is the description they gave:
The Nagisa Auto Gachiri Support or "Super Fantastic Fender Brace" is responsible for increasing chassis rigidity. It also improves the connection between the wheel wells and the area directly forward of the front doors. Improving stiffness in this region of the chassis will result in better stability under hard braking and better steering response at high speed.
The Gachiri Support accomplishes this by creating a triangular shape which braces the fender area to reduce flexing. In passenger cars, this area between the front door and wheel well forms a "crumple zone," which crushes upon impact in case of a front-end collision. Overall, the crumple zone aids in safety in the event of a crash on public roads. However, this area is soft and flimsy because it's MADE to to be squashed easily compared to other parts of the chassis. In order to erase that shortcoming, Nagisa designed the Gachiri Support, which aids that soft area with sturdy bracing.
This part is for individuals who are interested in all-out performance with no compromises. And it benefits drivers using high-grip tires, such as drifters, and circuit racers.

As a bit of reference, these braces accomplish what factory brace and welding did to Verts to help stiffen up the chassis to compensate for the roof being cut off.
Pull a fender off a vert and you'll see what I mean. Definitely a thumbs up upgrade for coups.
