Also, I will be in Santa Maria tomorrow with the So Cal RX club... I will give you 2 tools both 25 bucks if you show up. But prepared to have a 1000 dollar doctor bill when you leave.

AND OF COURSE r_ed_line53 KNOWS that it doesn't cost that much (10G) to do the 5 speed swapped.....He's using the word 10G as a resemble that it's just going to be too much of a hassle and work to do that kind of a job... And of course thats his Opinion. That's why Kamaal should stay away from it, and instead use that money to fix up his car...

It's funny how people will band together against a common, foe, no matter how small or how big the group. Yet within that group everybody is jockying for position....
If this was some honda or mustang, you guys would support eachother, going "Single Rotor N.A." Against a Ferrari ENZO... No Problem Dude... Just put a T78 on it and some Nitrous on the low RPM side to counteract the lag, and you're good to go... (BS)
Why bash eachother !? Manual Is better than Auto, so if you have Auto you have 2 Options... Sell The Auto and Buy a manual, or swap it... and frankly if you're happy with the Auto the way the car runs etc.. do the swap, another FD could have a whole nother set of Jacked up Issues to deal with that might cost way more than 4-5K... (I know)

Hey I got an Idea, why not call a FD "peace" Meet sometime between this summer...
NOrth Cal FD and So Cal FD all get together... I know alot or a couple of people down there too. Max, Rotorhead, Bat, u, Djdino, sounds alot like Bat to me too, but I'll hit them up and we could arrange an FD meet and hook up from there....

i've had a couple of rx-7's for 14 years now... picked up an 87 tii in 1990 which went thru 6 motors, i've had my 93 for 7 years of that and only gone through one motor.
Mr Fumanchu - you definitely brought up a few words that took this thread to this tangent... but hey to each his/her own... and i definitely went along for the ride. cool though, oh and thanks for reminding how many times i've had long sticks and bills shoved up my ***. definitely a learning curve for me.
