So I popped my motor Monday morning on my way to work, hit the rev limiter for a sec and then the motor sounded like a sheep….Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa definitely running on one rotor and wouldn’t rev . I got it home, pulled the plugs… cranked it over; didn’t even need to check compression, I could hear that there was no compression from the rear rotor. It was a stock Mazda reman S4 TII with a To4e and a E6X @ 10psi. This is the second Mazda reman that blew, the first one blew up after 1500 miles cruising on the freeway under vacuum(that motor and set up was all stock). So I am done with the Mazda remans, I will be building the next motor myself. At least this time the motor lasted 6k miles and I got to drive in the SS8 caravan. It will be a huge street port, balanced and I may even go with 3mm OEM seals. Anyhow I am most likely going to need a rotor housing and maybe a rotor so anybody have these parts let me know, but the reason I am posting is I will be needing a cherry picker. If anyone has one they would be willing to let me use I would be most grateful. I would be able to pick it up and return it on the same day. In return I would be willing to help with any RX work on your car. I would like to get the motor out next weekend.

I just bought one on craigslist with an engine stand for $100.

Why not get one there, use it, then flip it. . Arent you going to need it to put the motor back in?
