Driver license help :(
#27
I got my license when I turned 16 and it couldn't have been easier. The system to get a license is so pathetic that I am not surprised there are so many shitty drivers out there.
1.Online Drivers Ed =$30-70 (takes about 3 hours to complete)
2.Permit Test (a monkey can pass this)
3.6 month wait while doing drivers training. Private instructors cost around $200-$300. I paid around 250 for 10 hours of training where the instructor just took me around the routes that the specific DMV tested.
4.After the 6 months, take the ridiculously easy driving test.
5.Get your license and get speeding tickets.
Just wait till you're 18, and you can just make an appointment for a driving test as long as you have your permit.
My instructor filled out all the paper work for me which was only a few papers that proved that I completed drivers training. I only had to complete one form with basic information that would go on my license and drivers ed sent me the forms that proved I passed drivers ed.
Driving illegally/without insurance is retarded. I hate to say it but most of my friends do it, and I feel bad for all people they might potentially get into an accident with. And they WILL get into an accident because if you can't handle getting a license, which is one of the easiest things to do, then you can't handle driving a car.

I did everything but the drivers training. I didn't because what I read I thought when youw ere 17 1/2 you didnt need it just a permit and I couldn't afford 250 or so for the lessons. I thought they made you do one lesson amonth... so my friend told me.
You can do it as quickly as you want, I called a place they are open every day of the week, I'm paying tmrw and I'll be done in a few days and finally go to the dmv and get my license.

Dunno why everybody labels teens as horrible drivers. The people who almost hit me look over 20 normally.. just depends on the person, the worst drivers in my opinion are teen girls, the other day one bitch was on the phone looking forward, I'm in a bright red loud rx7 pulling forward in the parking lot to turn right, I keep inching but every car wont let me in, 15 cars later or so I just start moving in the lane, got the 7's nose in their lane yet the bitch kept driving didn't even NOTICE I was right there.
Another time I was backing up, couldn't see out the rear much so I was inching back and tapping the throttle (Loud car once again) a chick comes up and goes AROUND me (in the other lane) as I'm backing up, I block her (didnt know she was behind me) she decides to not reverse alil bit so I can keep backing up and just keeps honking at me till I moved forward.
Also I don't speed or nothing, I know how fast my car goes, I know how fast it'll take turns theres just no point anymore, my dad let me get that outta my system 2 years ago. I'd love to touch up on my cornering skills but I can wait to track her to do that
Kongfu, yeah it's a car, costs money to drive, blabla. I want to drive so I can go places, I wanna drive, drive 40mins to my home town up north and visit some friends I haven't seen in so many years.
I hardly drove without a license, mostly to get food n such for my dad before he died. I'm a dumbass I fucked up getting my license and shoulda called and got the facts straight. I posted this thread to find out info that googling couldn't assist with, if somebody told me in the first few posts drivers training you can take in 3 days, I'd of been so greatful.
I dunno why most of you are ********, oh well you douche's wont get to me, I'm stoaked as ****
thanks RockyZ and such
btw you can't forge all sigs, you get yet another paper when you finish drivers training, you need that + permit with everything signed and proof of insurance on the vehicle.

Mainly, because they frequently let their emotions get the better of their intelligence.
When this happens while they are behind a keyboard, it just produces unfortunate outbursts like this:
When it happens behind the wheel, teenagers often end up dying. Frequently taking others with them.
Auto accidents = #1 cause of death for teens/young 20's. Can't argue with the numbers. That's why insurance companies mug teenagers - - they have the math to back it up.
This is not a shot at you personally, but you gotta remember something: all us 'older' folk were also teenagers at one time - - and we remember how we and our friends were.
