Where do you guys go to practice in? Who puts on the track days? I know of Just Drift, but they don't have any days listed. Thanks!

this is one they hold in san diego where i live. the last turn out lacked cars but had a great turnout for whoever participated. my friend in his s13 put in about 75 runs the whole day which is pretty damn great. right now their trying to find a place to do it at because the stadium ppl bitched and complained about a crack in the floor that was worsened due to the drifting so now theres a big hole and they dont want to have it there anymore. ill keep you guys updated on what happens.

Well I you want to do it on the track, there is: drift day, drift buffet, and land ho.net. as for street I know some people and myself that go to industrial areas because the roads are wide. but police crack down on spots if they get to popular.

You just come over and i'll show you how to drift But yeah i've been to a few drift days and they're very very helpful, they do tend to fill up quickly mainly from the 240 crowd so you have to know when registration opens. Never been to those drift buffet events, i'll try to get one after i slap my lsd on though.

What parking lot do you drift in? Without getting into trouble? Very dangerous to do a full out drift on the street. You guys are braver than me I'll give you that...

Come on Fu, let the nitwits have their fun. By this time next week, there could be some cheap car parts - provided they don't kill everyone in LA, Orange, and Riverside counties

In case I forget to mention it, random acts of stupidity (drifting) should never be performed in Santa Clarita. It's not that we don't appreciate this particular art form, it's just that studies have shown that people who engage in this type of behavior are occasionally* lacking in insurance.

*Occasions such as whenever they have to pay for something they're responsible for ruining.

If I do happen to drift on the street i'm not going to be a dummy about it. I wasn't really talking about doing it on the street if you read I talked about pratice events on the track. But I do wonder what the streets are like in Santa Clarita, are there any wide streets. I'll Manji all day

Someone once told me that if you throw a brick in a pack of dogs, it's the one that got hit that does all the barking.

If you read all the posts you'll see that an inquiry was made about practicing somewhere other than a track. Not that anyone here believes the majority of drifters rent a track for a day for "practice".

If you feel so inclined, come on up to Santa Clarita. We have nice, wide 50 MPH roads and plenty of canyons. Demographics show residents to be be primarily in the law enforcement profession. That, and the local Sheriff LOVES folks from out of town. Don't believe the rumors, there's always room for one more at "The Inn". If there are space issues, I'm sure the Honor Ranch will handle overflow.
