The problem is with the exhaust manifolds. However, like I said, mine was thin-walled stainless which may have been the reason it burned off. Your manifolds are cast so theymight be able to take the heat.
fwiw, your exhaust temps drop by the time they reach the turbo.
Stuff looks good nonethelss. I found that coating stuff was like crack.
Find me some more stuff to do!

seriously, they can get it.
the problem is they're not very experienced with cermet. i'd rather pay more money and have it done by someone that's done it before, then someone who's trying it out.
but i was talking to those guys about doing a heat rejection coating on the side seals for the renesis motor. they take a beating being exposed to the exhaust gas. i wanna see if i can milk a little more reliability out of them.
