it will be the visible smoke test. now your car will fail if there is any little bit of visibel smoke anywhere. not that any of us dirve our cars with smoke coming out but just wanted to give everyone a heads up
i will be posting any other stuff like this as soon as i know

I would have failed if this was in effect two months ago
I had a leaky tranny and it was spilling on the cat = smoke (>_<)
It was funny, the was trying to check it out and he let me pass anyway

Why do you ******* have such a hard time passing a legit smog.
My car is running a haltech, has no intercooler, has methanol injection, has a 13b-rew (FC), has zero stock intake or exhaust components.
I even premix, but I run the car long enough that it doesn't smoke before I bring it in.
The only smog controls I have are the evap canister, a single CAT, the airpump and an ACV (rigged to pump air just into the airpump), and an HKS CARB sticker on my intake.
I had no problem passing at the smog ref for a street legal engine swap.
I stupidly timed the ref appointment just a **** hair too far out from my registration date, but had no problem passing smog again at a random test only place I had never been too.
Smog is easy.
