I did get a couple of pics and will post as soon I get a chance.
Had a slite screew up on the video. great footage, but upside down (ack) on the first day. but some how didn't record the secon day.
I can post the upside down version if anyone wantd to see it now (just have to hit ctrl+alt+ up arrow to flip your screen). Or in the week or so I will edit it and post.

Saturday was crowed. we had 49 cars on track in our group. Quailying was crazy. it was like driving in a video game. Passing cars every where.
On top of being down on power ( you can see everyone just pull me down the straights) I was haveing motor problems..... it was getting hot (it was 92 deg at the track) and I got up to 210 deg water temp in the race. So I started to back off. But seems like everyone else that didn't droped out or spun. I started 6 and finished 4th. I could see 2nd and 3ed place cars but the battle for 1st in the honda class was between us. The last sweeper I tryed a wide line, to get a run on them and got in the marbles. So I gave in and motored on to 4th.
Sunday. Things didn't go any better. It was hotter. I think I lost a few pound from sweating in the car. It got up to 96 for the race. Started 7th (both days didn't get a clean lap to qualify). Bad start put me in back of the pack... the guy in front of me stoped on the green flag. I slamed on the binders to avoid him and watch as everyone else took off. droping to 10th. Worked my way back up to 7th by lap 4 and was all over 6th. He left the door open in the sweeper. So I stuck my foot in there. Now in 6th, I have 5th right in front of me and gaining fast. Looking at the water temp. I about craped my pants. 215 and climbing. Oil temp in the 260's. ****! I had to cool my car down, and fast! Jennings in the car I just passed was back looking for revenge. I knew I couldn't hold him off for long. But I think I can still take 5th and I can still see the rest of our class just in front of us. But a a car from a faster class car came through. He was the leader of the overall group.He got by me and the 5th place car.
Then a blessing and a curse came on the track, the pace car! I was glad to see it. So I could cool the car down. But the bad part. It split the group. I just waved good bye to any chance of 4th place on , as they did not get passed by the leader of the group.
Lap after lap clicked by as a CRX sat, just off cotton corners as the firefighters put out the flames.
This set up a 3 lap 3 way battle. With me, the meat in a Miata sandwitch. I did dd everything I could to get by the 5th place car. Tried inside passes. Out side passes. I even got next to him and pulled him out of the button hook. Just to have him out motor me. Tried again coming out of the bus stop getting next to him in Taladega. But couldn't hold the line and another car from a faster class was coming through. I even tried to sneek in behind that guy. It was working. I'm next to the Miata and got a noise on him. But I'm on the out side of the last sweeper. I just could not make it work and had to put two wheels of the track so I wouldn't hit him. That gave him the edge, and Jenning's right on my *** waiting for something to happen. On thought the cork screew I was rubbing his rear bumper. I set up the last turn. got a slight run out of the turn. Getting up to his rear tire when we passed the finish line.
In the pits Eric introduce him self and confessed that before the pace car came out. He was fadding. He was hot, tires were hot, car was hot and he started to back off. But after the Pace car, he was better, nd readdy to go again.
Though it wasn't for first, it was a hell of alot of fun. But I was so bumed when I found out I didn't get any video. Jenning's did have a cam, so maybe I can get some of his footage.

I was racing, but gta was there. I was to busy trying to cool the car some how. So I didn't get much time to go around. But did see Mark from Tri point as well as my old collage buddys from Maximum Motorsports.
