Big street racing bust in oakland

Yes Yes, laugh at me all you like.
All I said was that I made better choices as to where I choose to do what I like to do and still be able to keep my car and not hurt anybody but myself.
Im sorry that ive only been alive for 18 years and dont have a large enough income to blow $150 on a race session at a track whenever I feel like it.
I like to race and go fast and test my car after every new part, re-map of my ECU, little tweak, etc... just like everybody else on here does.
I just dont have the kind of money at this time in my life to throw it away for only a few hours of fun once in a while and then be able to afford gas afterwards.
Now, once I can afford that race track fee and everything else, I will then take it to the track. Hopefully I will see some of you out there in a year or so

I remember when i used to go to 7th street for the runs. Never in my own car though. I just didn't have a fast car to bring at the time...HAHA! I stopped going when F&F came out. Fucked up the whole scene. Then the side show boyz wanted to come out and hit and kill each other while swinging their cars, and then biker boys wanted to come out and play and get ran over by car, and THEN dumb *** F&F fanboyz....enough said. Street racing can be fun if done in a dead *** spot like farm roads out there. No one to run into except each other.
I don't go to street races anymore because it's so hot. I remember when you can street race all night and nothing bad happens. Not one soul injured. People usually get injured when the cops come anyway. People running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to get back to their cars. Do I condone street racing? Not anymore. Will I judge you for it? No. You do what you want. I don't consider street racing on 7th street in oakland as a dangerous spot.
The only people who drive through there is truckers anyway. It's not like you're going to run over some little girl riding her bike across the street. It's a damn shipyard...All in all, the track is the best place to be IMHO. If you can't afford it, stop buying mc donalds and save up. That's where my beast will be going...Now it's just a matter of which track to go to.
P.S. Oakland Runs WERE fun.

Some of my "friends" or my "so called ex friends" don't seem to understand that concept...and thats only because there ***'s have not gotten there car impounded, or been slapped in the face with a $2000.00 ticket, or have had ther lic. taken away...so they hate on me for not bringing my car out and ****...but **** it, in the end it's me who has to face the music and pay the bills not them so caring about how I feel on the street racing bull-**** is ******* bunk...
You know it's gets old...and at some point you just have to tell yourself enough is enough and at some point you just have to draw the line...and say **** uhm and **** the street races...Im all about track these days...even though every once in a blue moon you could catch me peeping the street runs minding my own bizz...but let it be known you will never catch me with my car out there...
Just life learned lesson that i had to find out on my own, no matter how many people told me to stop what i was doing...I had to suffer and go through it to learn the hard way...Its just the way life is...

yee, trispeed said it... If there was a place to street race, 7th st was it. Even then, something just never sat well with me when I attended. Needless to say, I dun participate anymore -- too many risks in too many ways.
