OK, now I'm torn... should I bring the 350Z (since I'm a member of My350Z.com, too) even though it's essentially stock and will get laughed at, or should I bring the SA?

Its great food This guy pulled up to my FD in a golf cart looking thing as I was parking at Lucilles. I thought he was some ricer that was going to tell me how his cousin's neighbor's uncle's sister in law's brother's co-worker's boss's nephew's dad has a million HP RX-7 that will race me but he just told me about the meet without a crazy JDM story about someone else's car. I'll probably make it to the event just to see whats up and hopefully take advantage of the discount at Lucilles. You should come out Johnson. The drive will add more miles to your engine

Why would you get laughed at in a stock 350Z? We don't have at you with a stock SA.

You know, that's a good question.

Having a clean, stock SA took a considerable amount of time, skill, and effort... having a stock 350Z, all that took was 30 years of steady employment!

The -7 seems like something I "made," the Z's something I "bought," at least so far. Besides, the -7's cleaner under the hood, heh!

I'm fond of both cars, but I feel much more "responsible" for the -7 than I do for the Z.

I guess I'm more an appreciator of skill and effort than I am of ownership, so I tend to think others are the same way.

That makes complete sense to me, and I'm the same way.

However, I think 99% of other people are the exact opposite of us And isn't the Z your wife's car?
