Oh damn...sorry to hear about your misfortune. I stopped going to Jiffy Lube awhile ago because they ARE completely retarded.
There is a shop a block away, right by Weinersnitzel(sp?) called Haines Auto Service. They specialize in Mazdas. They are quite decent, better than the dealership. I wouldn't recommend having them do major engine work but anything else (brakes, oil changes, clutch, etc) has been satisfactory.
Good luck with battling Jiffy Lube.

If I were you, contact the reporter from channel 4 nbc that was exsposing jiffy lube as crooks. Tell him exactly what happend and see if he can help ya. I think you should be able to find his name on nbc's local website. Jiffy lube are nationwide crooks, don't let them screw you and never let them touch your car.

After getting back the car they did nothing to it. They even had it on camera all the workers just walking past the car look at it and just walk away.
Even after showing video footage to the manager they deny everything.

I went to jiffy lube one time and had those ******* change my trans oil (manual trans) this is when I was 16 with my first car 85 Rx7 GS. It was supposed to be 10 dollars labor and 5 dollars per quart. ******* charged me for 5 quarts of trans oil. I knew that didn't sound right, low an behold I find out the trans holds less than 2 quarts, and even overfilled holds less than 3.

This is bad advice. If you are going to small claims court it should probably be the last thing. That way you can show the court that you did put an effort in to allowing Jiffy Lube to make it right with you. So the judge can't say, well why are you bringing this up now when you didn't even try before.
Meet with the district manager, I bet there is a good chance they'll get you your money. I've heard stories of forgetting to put the drain plug back and and blowing motors. And guess what? They got replaced on Jiffy Lube's tab.

Any Judge would agree.
Now, tomorrow, after the District Manager gives him a bunch of lip service we'll see.
Hell Jiffy Lube won't fess up even when Joel Grover has them video taped. You think our boy is going to have better luck?

Dude I know exactly which one you are talking about.
A buddy had a similar story, them not being able to locate the filter on a Celica.
I laughed, he left, I did it for him later that day.
How the hell can people like that work in a shop?!@?!?!
Good luck with the battle

No one should go to jiffy lube. Cheap price = bad service by poorly trained workers. If you didn't have time to do it yourself, you should have waited until you did have time. Stupid people go to jiffy lube .................. here's your sign

jiffy lube is terrible work. youd be better off going to some mom and pop shop to get your work done. or even a 76 gas station lol.
But the best thing you can do is avoid them completely do your own stuff or go to the dealer.
