Boxing... only?!? Keep up with the times fella's, it's all about MMA! ahhahaha... just kidding guys, were all old school Autobacs homies, "can't we all just get along!"
I didn't get a chance to read this thread yet, but are we now meeting up at rrr? I've never been there and I live so close by.

Those were my thoughts exactly. Since Ive been going to various meets, it's always been chill. Wouldnt think something like this would pop off.
Would be cool to see this minor issue resolved...

Me too, but some people cant let things go...
Boxing is part of the MMA. err "striking" is.
I've been doing some B.J.J. With some buddies for a shortwhile now. Super fun. My buddy actually developed his own “style” or “technique” of BJJ. He calls it the squeeze. Helps demoralize the opponent, Makes them trapped and hapless.
As for this shizzle with Kevin. I’m over it. I tried to be cool and civil at RRR then he ran his mouth on here the next morning as if I was hiding from him at RRR. I figured if I let him slap me around a lil bit, he would feel better and we can finally squash this “feud”. Its not meant as a “I’m going to kick your ***” or anything. But if he wants tension at meets, that his problem.
So here I am, asking to squash it. The ball is now in his court.

Fo sho Ed! I can definitely make the Nov 7th meet.
And Bris, you should always "squeeze" when doing BJJ. It tires out your opponent faster. It sounds like the style your friend uses is called "Catch Wrestling". Its a technique used by bigger guys. It's basically the same thing as wrestling or BJJ, but it's a bit more direct/violent i.e. knee rides when transitioning to the mount, cross facing while sweeping, keeping pressure on the stomach/diaphragm etc. etc. The goal is to always keep pushing the pace and tire out your opponent in order to make them submit easier. The goal of Catch Wrestling is to make the opponent feel uncomfortable in all positions.
(back on topic) From what I know of Steve and Kevin, you guys are both homies and I don't see any of you guys acting like douches. With that said, lets get back to the meets!
