Hellspawn are you still using stock suspension? I have not made up my mind yet but I think I am going to use Tein coil over on my new car. Sounds like you had fun.
Looks like John (ls1240z) was still signed in on my computer.

This event is only $30-$40 depending on when you register, I'll post up the registration info tomorrow.
Can you link us to their webapge so some of us can sign up? Maybe I can show them a little 20B action if she's running by then.
Thanks! =)

My best was 62.0 in my REPU w/street tires and it was a lot of fun. Tomas A. in his GSL-SE with ITS suspension and Toyo R's did 59.0. Sixty bucks for 10 runs and got free coffee and muffin in morning, free lunch. Very nice people there, the Porsche guys were friendly and fast.
Only snob or a-hole I saw the whole time was a SCCA Corvette guy who didn't like having three knocked over cones on his run. He stopped and yelled "Hey, Come On!" at the corner workers. The 912 that went thru before him knocked over 4 and there was only enough time to put 1 back. Or risk getting run over. I guess that A-hole SCCA guy thought having a clean run was more important than corner worker saftey.
I will be back for more Porsche or Camarillo Auto-x's. That's a nice venue with a good cool breese. And I got a box of strawberries down the road for 7 bucks on my way out!
Hellspawn please keep us updated on auto-x's.
MazdaComp doesn't require SCCA only posted results. As long as the results show the date, your name and Mazda make you'll be fine. Check zone8's website under results in the future for results. http://www.pca.org/zone8/

I have heard great things about the tein flex coilovers. If you got the money and don't mind corner weighting your car and figuring out all the other settings to get them set up properly, then go for it!

Advance entry is $40 if it is postmarked by June 8 ($30 + a $10 one year membership in the CORSA club. The membership fee is apparently required by their insurance. This club has 2-4 auto-x's a year at Camarillo so you only have to pay the $10 membership fee once). On site registration, if available, will be $40 + the $10 membership fee.
There is a student and military discount of $10 and a $5 discount if you are already a CORSA club member. They said just to show your student or military ID at the event if you use the discount when you mail in your fee.
Make checks payable to:
Ventura County Corvairs, POB 6012, Ventura CA 93006-6012
The event is limited to the first 60 drivers registered, so I wouldn't wait for on site registration.
Questions may be directed to Jack Pinard (805) 340-6533 or you can email him at jackpinard@cs.com
