April 9 Slammed Society Showcase/Formula D---FREE CAR SHOW SPOT!!!!
Event- http://fatlace.com/society/
So i bought a spot for my car for the April 9th event in long beach but i won't be making it.
I paid $35 for it which you get a spot in the showcase and 2 wristband. If any one with a FC or FD wants the spot PM me. Only thing is your car has to be show quality and fit in. So send me a PM with the most recent picture of your car and i'll let you know if i approve.
I have all the paper for you to enter the show. Will even go with you the day before(friday) so there won't be any confusion/problem with the show organizers if it comes to that.

This was in the Falken booth... more pictures to come soon.
That was a pretty poor excuse for a car show. no awards, just a goody bag. Don't get me wrong there were some nice cars but they didnt' put much effort into making it a show, more like a showoff or display

Casual shows and local meets are good fun, I got to a bunch... but when the show organizer starts charging attendence for the general public, or asking real money in order 'enter' your car in a show, then some real prizes & trophies need to be in the offing. Recognition is what fuels people to have a show-worty car in most cases.
It takes a lot of time, and no small amount of money, to get and keep a car in 'show' condition. If the show organizer expectes to make money off the car owners' efforts, there has to be some kind of return for the owners, beyond just being announced a winner; decent trophies don't cost that much to have made.
