LOL...yeah I miss the brap brap brap, it was cool driving around a car that sounded like that. But I don't miss the off-idle misfiring and stinky-ass exhaust. :p Although an FD with a half-bridge is kinda rare and the power must be incredible, who knows what I'll do hehe...

GUITARJUNKIE28 12-03-04 05:29 PM

eh, just stick with a streetport. if you want more power, get a bigger turbo. 400+ is still achievable...in a more civilised manner. it just takes more boost to get there.

:) ! Walked on a measley 2000 or so Carrera 2 today. Guy didn't even know what hit him. He came back up next to me when I slowed down and just started shaking his head with jaw dropped. LOL

ok....we are having a run tonight at around 10-10:30, we'll meet in san bernardino, and hit the road around 11 pm...... if anyone is interested, let me know and ill give you the details.... again, this isnt for rotarys only! so invite your friends too!!

speeddemon32 12-09-04 06:30 PM

although due to rain, we we unable to do anything to stupid, but it was still fun, kinda nice to just cruise.

have we all been thinking of an exact time and place for the next (jan) meet?

so far i am hearing 3rd week of Jan. although it's a little far from now, i guess it still qualifies as a jan meet :D

soooo, lets say Jan 15th, or Jan 22nd.

8:00 A.M. this time, instead of 9:00? or did everyone like 9 better? (we are usually wraping it up around 11:30 or so.)

and this time we decided to meet in the Fontana, Rancho area. (last two were east of San Bernardino, this time we are shooting west)

..... well there you have it, its nothing exact, but we are getting closer.

Riccio 12-09-04 08:00 PM

I vote for 8 AM - more fun on the drive part - less traffic. Then, maybe if we get done about 10:30 AM, we can head for a nice breakfast. Got a few good places to recommend for that!

BTW, got the S&R Motorsports Intake installed - so far it's great - no rough idle, and it sounds real throaty.............looks cool in the engine bay too.

speeddemon32 12-13-04 10:03 AM

have heard a K&N, i am wondering how it sounds compared to the S&R...

8:00 sounds good to me. mabe this time we can just hang out longer then last time (at ware ever we meet)
just a sugestion.

vipers 12-13-04 03:57 PM

i agree with the hanging out part..... i had a blast at the restraunt we ate at! very relaxing!!!

speeddemon32 12-15-04 10:53 AM

yeah it was cool! got to just hang out and learn more about my fellow rotary peeps!
:D

hey...... welcome to the group...... we usually have a once a month meet for rotary specific cars...... but tend to have runs every other weekend where just about anyone is invited. unfortunatly december is really tough for alot of us to get away from our busy scedules, so all runs are cancelled until january

Andrew. 12-16-04 10:28 PM

I'll try to get to the jan meet so i can meet up with some local rx7 guys.

scotty305 12-20-04 01:30 AM

Hey all, I've got other stuff going on the 22nd-23rd, please schedule for a different weekend if possible.

Riccio 12-20-04 06:36 PM

We couldn't go with out you (and your sexy FD) - no way! I think we are talking about going on Saturday, January 15th - can you make that day???

speeddemon32 12-21-04 10:37 AM

15th sounds good to me, 23rd is way to far a away! :D i wana see Riccio's RX-8 again! (you going to ring the 8 or the third gen?)

Riccio 12-21-04 04:13 PM

For Glendora Ridge/Mountain Road, it's a "no-brainer" - I'm bringing the 8!

scotty305 12-22-04 02:36 AM

Seriously , for the road I'm thinking of, a Miata would be the weapon of choice vs an FD3S.

Saturday or Sunday would both be OK by me, any weekend besides the 22-23.

speeddemon32 12-27-04 12:06 PM

ok so we have:

When:
Jan 15th
location:
Rancho/Ontario area (undetermined so far)
Time:
8:00 A.M. (Right?)
Who:
any rotary powered vehicle

am i missing something?
