I think for those that don't know better, trans = transportation.
My GF goes there graphic design, i think? I never listen when she talks about her art stuff, I don't get it and I don't care.
My other high school buddy graduated from trans couple years back, now works for BMW. Big baller.... nice perks.
Good school, but you walk in there and you'll find out in a couple of minutes that the buildling was designed by an artist. You'll get lost. I guarantee it. The layout is retarded. You won't find your classes on your first try. Cafeteria food is decent and the campus patrol WILL give you a $70 ticket for going over the speed limit of 15MPH. Watch out.
Edit: Oh and don't bother getting a parket permit. If they can see the expired permits from past terms, they'll give you a parking ticket, but if you dont' have one at all, they won't.

alumni summer 2004. Motion graphics. If anyone's attending there during april 2004 and before that, might've seen my old car at school. I used to drive a 98 white Prelude with full Mugen kit, no spoiler, and carbon fiber hood, rolling on 18" 5zigen 5ZR rims.
I wish i saw a post like this while i'm still in school. we can arrange a meetup at school parking lot..... if ppl can find time..
best of luck for everyone still in school. work hard and graduate, not only it'll be worth your while, but you'll sleep like a baby, and life will be great after that. kit w/ ur teachers, they're ur best starting hookups...

Damn, I remember your car. Remember mine? Montego Blue '93 FD...stock on the outside. I was the only FD on campus at that time. I graduated product/trans/entertainment in '01. Concept designer for DreamWorks now. I didn't realize there were many ACCD folks here. Oh, and to the poster who doesn't know how toget around the campus..I don't know whats wrong with you. Its just a straight 2 story building. Your either on the left side or right side.

yeah, i totally remember ur car. This FD is actually my second one. I had a black touring FD that i totaled in 98, and got the prelude w/ the insurance $. so during these 7 years everytime i see ur car at school i was drooling walking down the down the stairs from the student parking lot. So i finally picked up this one last month. its definitly for keeps. Do u still have ur FD? how is it now? I remember u had only autometer 52mm boost gauge on the a-pillar back then. any changes?
congrats on ur job! that is definitly a pimp position to be at. I'm currently freelance and permanlancing at a few studios and fine living network. still working my way up from a motiongraphic designer, but i'm definitly enjoying the freedom i give myself between gigs.
I think Meiogirl's idea of: >> ^^^ we could meet up there for the car classic on 7/17 http://www.artcenter.edu/carclassic/

I think its a great idea. i'm down to meetup if we have enough ppl. I hope we can get away w/ our old IDs, but i think that shoulder right next to the entrance where the school sign is at is cool too if we have to pay, but we might become another show attraction of our own.. . if we don't have to pay, i think the parking lot strait ahead and towards the right when u enter the student parking is cool too, by the shop/factory where the enviormental peeps use. any thoughts?

Art Center classic car show on 7/17
Hey everyone,
not sure if anyone still reads this thread, but the Car Show at Art Center is tomorrow. I found out, that yes any attendee that is not currently enrolled in AC will have to pay $50. And everyone will have to park at the rose bowl and take a shuttle up to School because there will be no parking anywhere near school. So it will be impossible for us to meetup there.
So hopefully we'll see everyone at STOCKSEVEN 8 in October. I would love to meet every FD owner from Artcenter. so please look for me, i drive a white FD with CF hood, 18" 5zigen 5ZR rims and license plate is "RX7FD3S".

comic con, they had a huge life size optimus prime aka a freakin semi. i wish it would have transformed. neville page and scott robertson had a whole booth for design studio press and all the books that they make. most of which were ACCD alumni, that was cool.
SOE is Sony Online Entertainment, producer/publisher of online games. We do Everquest, EQ2, Matrix Online, Star Wars Galaxies. I guess those are the big name games. I got hired on to do vehicles for a game that didnt do so well, Planetside, now I'm making monsters for EQ2. Hopefully Ill get on another vehicle type game if we decide to do one.
Nice Jeep ad mayne!

Yup. They were my instructors (neville & Scott). Yeah, the optimus thingy...that was ours..DW . Kinda cheesy though, since it was just a plain semi...not even what optimus is going to look like.
