I work 24 hour shifts, one day on three days off. That is a sick spot, i was just over in that area last week for a party, actually four spots over on that beach. All those white shacks are a trip. Have fun dudes

I think between 12-and 1 should be good. I am getting ther EARLY ie 9 am to get a choice spot, so What ever is clever, I will be there all day till they close! BTW all peple bringing BEER, keep it low beer isnt allowed. ALSO BRING YOUR OWN CHAIRS AND SUNBLOCK!!!! I am bringing a frezzbee, anyone want to bring a FOOTBALL. If you plan on rolling out ADD YOUR NAME TO THE LIST!!!!!

 

Gate fee is 10 bucks, but worth it for the bathrooms alone.

And you can get in and out with a stamp.

 

I picked the end spots so we have less trafic around us, and it is by the exit. I am bringing my SMALL BBQ and grill ,but we could use a standard size grill from a BBQ if anyone can bring one. :smiley_12

 

how big is the fire pit? if someone just has the grill part, that would work over the fire pit. football sounds like a great *** idea. and were aloud to go swimming, right?

 

SWIMMING HELL YES.... I love the water!!!!! I talked to the ranger last weekend and she told me that ALL FIRES/BBQ MUST BE IN THE PITS. The pits looked about 3ft diameter.

 

i'll see about borrowing my sister's grill from her bbq then. i dont want o bring 40 ounds of charcole if they aren't going to be used damnit! lol

 

OH NO, 40lbs is too much. I only plan on starting the fire/bbq with the coals for the most part, trainwreck is bringing firewood, so the coals are the opener till he gets there. I have a few sources on a grill so I will make some calls today.

I would go 5 south to 605 south to 405 south second exit with be bolsa chica blvd. Go BCB west and the directions will get you there from there. What time you plan on showing up?

Some pics and maps as well as the link to the beach just in case! The exit is on the 405 freeway in north orange county, between the 55 freeway to the south and the and the 22 freeway to the north. You can get off on WARNER AVE WEST. IF YOU ARE COMING FROM THE SOUTH, just follow it around the loop and it points you in the right direction. If you are coming from the NORTH, EXIT BEACH BLVD. At the end of the off ramp take a left to get to beach. Now go right when you get to BEACH BLVD. and you will be driving about a half a mile or so till you get to WARNER AVE, take a RIGHT ONTO WARNER AVE. Take Warner till it gets to PCH and go left at the light. Once you go left LOOK ON YOUR RIGHT SIDE, this is the park, this is the North exit we will be on this end, see attached images a few pages back.

Here is a better freeway map, RED is if you are coming from the NORTH and you take the BEACH EXIT, GREEN HIGHTLIGHT is if your coming from the SOUTH and you EXIT WARNER AVE WEST as decribed above.

 

WE COULD USE AN EASY UP IF ANYONE HAS ONE!!!! It might save some people a sunburn.
