1800-tell-chp I think is the number you can call with comments or concerns. But yea, I know for a fact that the 05' maximas are being used as unmarked cars since about 85-90% of the car is made here in the US so they can use it as a cop car.

Can you REALLY, HONESTLY, 100% say that you would not know if it were a cop or not?
Or do you like to say that , " I didn't think you were a REAL COP" excuse would work when the under cover cop got assistance from a "black and white".
I'm not sorry to say but, IGNORANCE IS NO EXCUSE WHEN IT COMES TO THE LAW.

If it is somehow a criminal looking to rob you or something, he won't do it with other people around where he could easily be seen. Even at that, most criminals are not going to go to the extreme of pulling this scam just to rob you or steal you car when it's ten times easier to do it other ways.

Fumanchu, would the officer of an unmarked car show you his/her ID if you request to see it?

I did remember seeing a 84-85ish Caddy and I just knew he was LAPD. I pulled in front of him and I guess my rear sway bar was hanging loose so it was sparking on the ground.
He immeiately pulled next to me and as soon as he did he identified himself as, John Doe, LAPD and showed me his like desk name tag whatever, no badge, but need I ask? I asked him which side of my vehicle it was comming from, and thats it...
Boring story but it had some revelence.

Ryan,
That was a sneezer. You need to come up with more interesting stories than that. How about those kill stories against stock integra and civics you used to post
j/k, you my dog.

Fuman, I can't find it so maybe you can make it easy on me...
Where is the CVC that defines how to identify a peace/highway patrol officer and makes it illegal for a vehicle to continue driving when they attempt to pull you over?

I don't know why in the California VEHICLE Code there would be a section about indentifyng an officer. Maybe you can explain that to me.
