Submarine Electrician, served on the following boats:
USS JOHN C CALHOUN (SSBN-630 Gold)
USS BILLFISH (SSN-676)
USS NARWHAL (SSN-671)
USS ATLANTA (SSN-712)
USS MARYLAND (SSBN-738 Gold)
Also served at the following shore commands:
Recruit Training Command Orlando, FL 1988-1991
Navy Recruiting District Montgomery, AL (Nuclear Field Coordinator) 1995-1998
Nuclear Power Training Unit Charleston (MTS-635) 2002-2006.
Me and the division returning from the Med 1998- that's me at the top.
Me and the division officer learning (him) about the ship's main storage battery, in the middle of battery changeout 2001.

Hi George; the aircraft in the photo was a Harvard trainer, USAF called them Texan's ,we called them[ flying bricks ] they were heavy and had a redial engine. My Dad took the photo at one of the many RCAF bases we were stationed at.

That is too cool for you to share the photo! Did you fly for the RCAF or what was your specialty? I think it's really cool that your father and brother also served! Do you play any flight sims? I play a lot of DCS World as of late.
