@Manny3,
The resolution and perspective on that photo looks like a scale model. I dig it!
Although, there is something special when mixing old school cool with modern jets.

I have 4 trade on the F18, I was a former Safety System/Weapon Tech and for 4 years I’m a super tech, ie Air Frame/Engine Tech. In CAF it’ a bit different because we have less peoples than you but we do more trade at the same times!!!
For the light it was in the left gun door

That's right...it's on the gun door! What purpose does it serve - aircraft ID or something else? Is there a history of such spot lights on Canadian fighter aircraft? It would be interesting to talk more about the difference in aircraft maintenance philosophies for the same aircraft. It sounds like you have a prized skillset across multiple disciplines. That is quite the accomplishment!

@Manny_Apex,
That's cool! What do you think about the F-15EX being proposed by Boeing? After working on both of the USAF's mainstay fighters, which do you prefer to work on - F-15 or F-16?

As far as the EX model goes, I haven’t paid it any attention. A lot of those updated model jets get proposed, the US Govt declines to purchase, then they go to foreign countries (ex. F-15S, F-15SA, F-16 Block 50, etc)

Dan,
Sorry, I don't speak MOS codes. I wouldn't want to offend and mistake you for a Marine. However, I'm a former 6638, 6677, 8842, 9502, 9545, and 8800 kinda guy. Does that help? LOL Ah...the joys of using the GT app in the wee hours of the morning!
Request completed. Thank you for your continued service in the Army!
Hooaah!

Request completed. Thanks for your service!
And thanks for sharing the vintage photo of your FC. What base was that photo taken on? And did you know the owner of the FB?

SupSai7,
Cool! Thanks for sharing a part of your story and a 2nd photo.
If you haven't seen it then check out Post 34 for a photo of my FC next to an F-14 static display at NAS Miramar. That was taken circa 94-95.

Afternoon Senior!
It seems I'm going to be the most Junior guy here... CTM2(IW/SW) (E5 equivalent) currently Active Duty USN started in 2015
Trying to wait out this Corona and get the advancement results... I definitely need the extra money to funnel into the Financial Disaster.
Very Respectfully,
CTM2
