Changed mine to UNmodified USDM. I know it will cost me an additional 25 bones, but hopefully it will make life a little easier on the receiving end

6. RCCAZ 1/Modified USDM/ DEPOSIT $96.80

How much just for the bits? It'd be helpful if you could supply some sort of template for painting the black surround.
We've answered this question several times already. Sorry but the answer is still no. Once again, the reason for this:
A) we don't want people messing up their lights and then being upset at us for encouraging them to try this conversion themself
B) we wouldn't be able to warranty the product
C) if someone does it wrong or does a sloppy job, then when other people see the tails they'll think wow that SakeBomb Garage sure makes poor-quality crap! and we definitely don't want that to happen

for international people who don't want to pay to have their lights shipped round try, i suggest buying a set of lights that are already here in the US and having them drop-shipped to us.

although, the group buy is already full so anyone who's not in now...looks like they are gonna miss out!

D) the 99 spec conversion circles arent PAINTED. When you dont understand the procedure, it sounds like a good idea to try and do it yourself

If there is enough interest to do another run of lights after these are all finished up I'm sure the option will be available but it's not feasible or realistic to try to take on more than 35 at one time. We can possibly start an INTEREST LIST for a subsequent run... but it needs to be completely separate from the current list as it would be an INTEREST ONLY LIST.

Ok, I have received a number of PMs asking for an extension of the group buy, I haven't had a chance to reply to all of them yet. We may run another group buy in a few months but for now....

This group buy is closed!

If you would still like to have your lights converted then we will be offering the service, but the cost will be higher then our group buy pricing.

I know the GB is closed, and money is tight now and for the next several months. I do want to put it out there that I am very interested in this conversion (maybe at the beginning of next year). Just want to let you guys know this was a great idea and there is still interest in you doing more of these sometime in the future.

that sucks. I posted on 5/14 a question on how to get them, on 5/15 theorie posted that i missed the group buy. today 5/17 i see the reply and check his link and on 5/16 Scrub posted that the group buy is closed...

May I suggest an extention?

We will not be extending this GB since it will take a few months to sort through every ones conversions as it is. After we get caught up will will most likely start a new GB. Like I stated above, if you do not feel like waiting until the next group buy we will take orders for those willing to pay non group buy pricing.

If I didn't just get some super cool new HID headlights I would have been in the top 5 but am definitely interested in a future group buy. I was wondering how they plug in. Skimming thru I haven't come across that. I ask because I keep having an issue with the bulb plug for my brake lights as the bulbs are good but stop working sometimes.

They will plug in just like the stock bulbs do, except instead of a bulb it will have wire coming out of socket. I like super cool HID lights

-Dan

PS I've added everyone who has been requested to the list for the next GB.

Too late for that Tom. you created a product that it seems like a lot of people want I bet you didn't think they would be this popular this quick without really advertising them.

Hey Dan,
Can you also please put me on the list to pm when you guys are doing another group buy!
Thanks!

Also is it possible to order them without the diffuser lenses to have an led look?
Or do they hide circut boards, wires etc etc?

This is sick! I'm in for the next buy too! Put me on the waiting list, i'll even send some $$ to reserve a spot if necessary. Super exciting stuff, wish I would have came across this thread a week ago.
