Got my set in like two weeks ago and am liking them so far. I had some cheap-o HIDs before(HID bulbs in stock housing, not projectors) so ripping those out and installing these was a breeze, plenty of wiring for the kit, the light color/temp is also a good balance. The only complaint I have with the actual kit is the fuse holder, it looks a tad cheap and I suspect it will be a problem over the long term for anyone who washes their engine bay or has a vented hood in the rain or such. Not a major issue, just I had problems with the fuse holder on my previous HID kit so I'm a little extra leery now(it's not so great driving down the road and having your lights just shutoff lol). I will be cutting it out and replacing with an enclosed/weatherproof fuse holder(can get them at radio shack for a couple $).

The only real problem I have now is that the pop-up assembly doesn't seem to be very solid and as a result the light pattern is bouncing around significantly while at freeway speeds. Our third-world crappy roads here don't help at all either. You guys come across this before or have suggestions on anything to tighten/replace?

Thanks again for the great kit.

I agree the fuse is kind of lame, so instead of leaving it like that I ran it to my fuse box instead, there are 2 empty slots. Almost look OEM (kind of sticks out because I used a quick disconnect).

To reduce the vibration with the headlights, there are some rubber stops located around the head light buckets, try adjust them so when the headlights are up they are resting on them more. That should help with the vibrations.

yup, the assemblies get loose and sloppier over time. There is also a plastic bushing around the lift arm and a few other pieces that get worn out/sloppy and some could use a replacement or tightening.

We nearly have more interest than we can source housings for (once again)... which is our limiting factor at the moment. If you are interested in the next GB (which we should be opening up in a week or less) I'd highly suggest adding your name on the wait list .

As far as sourcing the housings, when you say "nearly have more interest than we can source housings", I take it you have more than 29 housing available?
At this point do you already know how many housings are available or is it something that is subject to change?

Then again, there are a lot of people on the list -- most likely a few will drop out but not sure if that helps me or not haha.

we currently have 15 new housing sets and are working to get more, but at the moment we're stuck at 15 and have cleared out everyone with these in stock. All I can say is, add your name, the sooner you make it on the list the better... cause to this date we have not been able to source as many housings as we have interest in lights. We hoped to have at least a few stocked on the shelf to sell at non GB pricing, but we've never been able to keep them on a shelf. We build them and they immediately go out the door pre-sold

Ah I see, then I am out of luck until GB#4 or I have seen a few people selling their setups in the sales section. Maybe it is a blessing in disguise, I can keep plowing forward on the reliability front

Nope, we're working to source more housings now... I only have 15 in hand at the moment is what I'm saying. We're working to source as many as there is demand for.

I hear you on the reliability front, but if you drive at night these are at least as important as reliability mods, if not more-so (for safety). This is not just a look good aesthetic product, the lights in the FD are so bad these are honestly a safety product. The first post in this thread has some unsolicited quotes that we found floating around about our lights... with "best mod I've ever done" repeated quite often, along with "I can actually SEE the road now" to paraphrase a few. I'm not saying this because we make them, the stock lights are a huge disaster waiting to happen (I hit a deer because i couldnt see it off to the side of the road with the stock lights... nearly totaled the car, and if it had come through the windshield probably would have totaled ME ).

Just installed mine a couple weeks ago and all I can say is they were well worth the wait.

The peripheral light from these is also incredible, being able to take a sharp curve in the dark and being able to see all the way into it is great fun.

Was pleased with the quality and routing/length of all the cabling as well, all in all was a very simple install even with the cuts on the bucket.

Awesome job on this kit guys, it was worth every penny.

Got mine, installed them, aimed them, they look great! (and let you see of course)

For others who have installed them, what path did you take when routing your wiring from one headlight to the other?

I agree this is one of the best mods you can do. I'm also glad i saved myself a couple hundred bucks and did it myself. It looks great on the car, really updated, and is fantastic if you drive at night. Only thing im having an issue with is these El Paso streets. theyre so rough my nice cut off bounces everywhere with the whole car lol.
