i think ls1's are a great alternative way to make easy power. The initial price is a lot higher but in the long run, you'll spend less money getting your ls1 to a certain performance benchmark as opposed to your rotary. Ls1's dont crap up the weight distribution like many often claim that they do. Ls1's are also much more reliable than rotaries. I personally wouldnt put an ls1 into my car, call me crazy but i think it just destroys what makes our cars what they are. However, im fully aware that there are a lot more pros in the ls1 swap, dont get me wrong.
