V8rx7forum just booted me off!

Just in case anybody was wondering V8rx7forum.com is falling apart. The only way that you can use the sight is to pay for the information and I only pay for **** on the internet! I voiced my opinion and it was brutal about the owner of the forum. He is not interested in V8rx7forum, he is only interested in making money off of the forum. His book that he wrote about building a V8 rx7 is trash and it is not worth $45 its not even worth .45 cents. So if you are a member over there and wonder where everyone is going, they are getting booted off for voicing their opinions if they differ from the owners.
I had over 1000 posts, hosted two national get togethers in the form of SevenNotStock, and I attempted to contribute my car to the book.
Dont waste your time anymore on V8rx7forum.com check out LS1tech or just post here.

RIP V8Rx7forum officially died May 1, 2010!

I know there was some reworking of the website recently but I didn't realize it has gone to sh*t. I've been working so much I hardly spend any time on there anyway....

I don't think the owner of the site is the moderator.

The moderator is an immature a**hole. The sad part being he's a commisioned officer in the army.
I think there's a good reason why he's been here in the states, and not in charge of any troops.

You just have to read a few of his posts to understand.

What's the saying ? " The inmates have taken over the asylum "

If you ever try to use their search function you'll see why I very rarely drop by any more. Says it sucks is putting it mildly.

In a Nutshell

Brian Smith felt that the V8rx7forum wasn't generating enough income to support the site. So he restricted non-paying users to 5 PM's and No search feature other then the google search which was useless. And no notification of the coming changes

This inspired a complete revolt.

But wait... theres more!

Origionally Brian Smith/James smith took over the DB from torque central. Once PAYING users of the site realized that Brian through a tempertantrum and shut the site down we all filed paypal disputes to recoup our money lost on the drama. Brian then threatened to delete the database if subscribers didn't cancel their paypal disputes.

I was a supporting site member 50 bucks a year, I'm quite livid the site is down as I just dropped cash on the site. I'm only assuming that Brian has acted on exactly what he threatened to do and deleted the entire repository of V8 Swap knowledge from the face of this earth. Rotards rejoice, it looks like Brian Smith single handedly saved the souls of many Rx7's.

Ridiculous. Selfish childish nonsense. I hope he did delete the db so he basically trashed what he purchased.

He's denying all of this "deleted the Database" stuff in the paypal dispute. It's total crap. The guy is a liar, he clearly posted that he would be "Forced to delete the database" if we didn't cancel our paypal disputes.

I wish I would have taken a screen shot of it so I could sent it to paypal. Extortion is a no-no.
