My 1990 RX-7 GXL LT1/T56 Project

This project won't start until after summer, but I'm going to begin to gather parts. I already have an LSD out of a Turbo II RX-7. I need an LT1 longblock, T56 transmission, C4 Corvette driveshaft, Granny's Speed Shop small block mounting kit, Willlwood clutch master cylinder, Summit Racing radiator, headers, and the res...t of the exhaust.

This is going to be done "right", and very very cleanly. Expense will be spared due to my college student budget, but appropriations will be made to buy quality parts.

The victim:

1990 Mazda RX-7 GXL
Auto
1.3L of naturally aspirated Rotary fury
99,000 miles

Yes, the car is as clean as it looks.

I just stopped by the site to start researching this very project. Even your donor car is exactly what I would want.. Red. I'll be following your build. Good luck!
