Dynotested.com. No one else has a cradle that will work with the LS7 dry sump oil pan.

No. Only LS1 Camaro pans and modified LS2 pans.

I spoke with Hinson and they said the LS7 would work with their kit. They are working on one right now I believe.

The kit currently is in the makes but they are still trying to figure out a way around having to modify the oil pan. Hopefully that happens because my order is in and I'm just waiting around. It almost makes me want to just go with the LS1 kit they have and save some bucks.

The old-style Hinson kit works with any LS motor, but only the F-body mounts and oil pan. Their new kit is supposed to work with GTo and/or Corvette mounts, and a modified C6 Corvette pan, but maybe not the LS7 dry sump pan. You could get a shorter aftermarket dry sump pan that should fit better. The Dynotested s7//ubframe is supposed to fit the C6 and LS7 pans without modification, unfortunately that design is being reproduced terribly and arrival times are anyone's guess at this point, while Hinson's will be quality stuff and should be less than a month from taking orders. Hinson also decided that being able to fit the C6 and LS7 pans without modification is a compromise in bump steer integrity, so it's your choice who is right.

yes its a good price, and a good piece. BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT, they have been having quality control problems lately, and the turn around time is pretty rediculous.

Jim might come on here and try and tell you that hinson and grant have horrible turn around times, but they are pretty well established now, that you can pretty much count on what they say. i've bought FB and FC stuff from only Grant, and his turn around time is amazing. its like he has these parts lying on the shelf.

Even when grant told me the driveshafts were going to take a while, said he had a batch being made and there were others ahead of me, i still got mine within 3 weeks.

i'm not 100% sure if you can swap an ls7 with grants kit, i assume its an oil pan swap away from working, but i may be wrong. Maybe Jim will let us know unbiasedly if it will or not :P
