LS1/LS6 Conversion Questions Help PLZ

hello well lets start of with i have a 93 rx7 and am going to do the engine swap and im looking for any and all help for doing and this what its going to require. I have questions like what should i be looking for when buying another engine and the prices i should be looking at also the differences in LS1 VS LS6. Can i just buy the motor and does it hook up fine to the old trani or should i buy the 6spd trani along with it? am i going to need to change anything else on the car due to the new torque and hsp? What is the wireing and mounting going to be like and what this project should overall cost me im not looking to make it super badass just a simple swap will do fine untill later when i get familar with it and can upgrade more. So please even if ive missed any questions please give me all the nitty gritty i need all the knoweldge i can get for this. Also completion time for this project? Or would it be way better to just take it to someone and have them do it?. Thank you for any and all help feel free to PM also my name is Anthony. I hope to hear from every one

Bro just an fyi, from what I've seen thus far the people on this site love their rotary engines, don't know how much help you will get. but good luck with the build. Oh and why are you gettin rid of the 1.3? I've always personally liked the uniqueness of the Rotary. But to each his own.

The irony of finnicky7's post is that his screen name is "Finnicky7" lol -

Statesville, NC, huh, well, you're 45 min away from two LS1 FDs. I'm in Winston and good friend/forum member is in Kernersville. Send over a PM with the questions you have.

Definitely 1000000000% worth it. You will LOVE it. And its not that hard...

Also, this forum will be your new home lol http://www.v8rx7forum.com/

Oh, and to answer your questions - everything you need is purchased here http://www.hinsonsupercars.com/

Basically - pull all the rotary stuff out, sell it.

Send the engine subframe to hinson

go to car-parts.com find an LS1 with T56 Tranny

Order the remaining install kit parts from Hinson (braces, etc...)

Send your LS1 wiring harness to Hinson, he'll convert and send it back.

Put the new sub frame in.
Put the new engine and tranny in.
Add the Brace.
Convert the lines for power steering.
Install new Clutch Master Cylinder.
Install new wiring harness.
Oh, need new radiator. Stock is too small.
Install Bump Steer kit from Hinson.
If you can afford it, get a decent set of adjustable coilovers.
Fabricate/install new exhaust from headers to your RX7 Catback.

That's pretty much it. Might have missed something, but you get the idea...

Oh and then you're gonna need to get rid of the error codes and calibrate the speedo

Damn, you got a 1700 roller. Lucky man. i know it sucks that everything was stolen, but atleast you can say you got an FD shell for the price of a nice FC!
