Personally, the swap does nothing for me, but it is your car. Just do us a favor and post pics or w/e when your **** is actually done. We do not need dual airbags.

No, LS1 has 3.90" bore, and the IRON BLOCK 5.3L has 3.78. That would equal 220 THOUSANDS.
Different cams? You must be going for superoober power. Exactly how many cams do you plan on putting in it?

its a 5.3L LSx motor.. and again, im trying to get this through ur thick skull.. its an LS1.. w/ a three thousands of an inch.. smaller bore.. and yes.. i will be putting an aftermarket fuel rail system on there, different cams.. the engine will not be 1 bit stock.. at the moment, i do not have the engine yet.. its still at the shop im getting it from.. it will take time to gather the parts, but when i do get the parts, i will definately take pics..

Well, for ****-kicking hicks like us, swapping a cam in an LS1 may only take an hour or three. But when you start talking about swapping the cams in an iron block 5.3L LS1, that's when it gets tricky. Could take days if you're going to do it RIGHT. That must be where he's been.

There where allot of people near Dallas that wanted to see the car finished so they could beat his car with the rotary power around there, Hell I was going to drive the 5 hours just to smoke him with my FD. But the thread got closed and we kicked him out of the south forum.

Hey I am all for the V8 swaps, there is a bad *** FD running like 550hp on spray, But this guy has been talking **** for almost 3 months. Allot of people on here do there swaps and everyone , even the rotary die hards, say that they did a great job.
The problem is how this guy is stuck-up because of his attitude "he is the best and everyone else suxs", that is the only reason that this guy has no friends on here.
People tell him stuff to correct what he is saying, this information is correct, MANY MANY people have been showing him all this hard proof that he is wrong about something and he will not learn from that. He just wants to say they are wrong and he is right because.........
The problem is how this guy is stuck-up because of his attitude "he is the best and everyone else suxs", that is the only reason that this guy has no friends on here.

If my car only makes 550..its going off a cliff haha. (fully built motor+a twin stage 250shot)...but back to this kid...clearly hes an idiot. People shouldnt waste time on him..hes kind of like the idiot "americancarsareslow" on streetfire.net he makes completely idiodic comments about LS1 FDs and he doesnt even own an FD. You guys just gonna ignore the idiot.
BTW: to any of the v8 guys on here, i have a rotary fd street car and am willing to race a street v8 rx7 on the street anytime. "Americancarsareslow" does have an fd and it runs very strong. Hes tired of all the ls1 guys talkn smack on the rotary and tired of ppl sayn the rotary is junk and cant get it done.

Funny, I think the only time I've ever seen a V8 guy say anything like, "rotarys are crap" is the TT_Rotary boy. But then again, he doesn't know anything about V8s either....
On the contrary, I regularly see rotary guys bash V8 swappers. This forum is a prime example. Anytime something remotely close to V8 swaps mentioned in a thread, it is either out edited by the mods, or relegated to this "back of the bus" sub forum.
Next time I'm up that way, I'll be glad to take your money. My only rules for racing heads up, is a comparable (AC, PS, full interior, etc), motor to motor, radial to radial. BTW, why don't you race 2MCHPWR? He's up your way and has offered to race you on a track. Or do you not want to race on a track with turns? The big ol turbo sticking in front of your 3 rotor screw up the handling? I'll bet you anything that your engine, fully dressed, weighs 100lbs more than a fully dressed LS1.
I watched your videos.... 10secs? How much did it cost you to get there? Heads & cam on an LS1 FC will dip into the 9s. Pretty common on the v8 board. My FC would run high 10s and I only took me $4k to get the LS1 in the car and running. That includes the price of the car. So, how much did you spend on yours again? Not only that, when you break something, can you go to NAPA and pick up a new part? O, sorry.

We hang, trade parts, go for drives, etc. They call me when they have piston problems, and I call them when I've got rotary or other RX7 problems. Again, I'm not bashing the rotary, if it's your thing, great, stop trolling over here because swappers aren't welcome elsewhere on the board.

I can help you understand it a little better if youd like..from a dead stop or a roll. ..your close to englishtown correct..id much rather take it to the track..rotary/turbo vs. v8/lots of nitrous. You seem like another cocky rotard...judging by your words, after you get beat your excuse would be something like you have 1/3 the motor... oh btw my car is street driven and registered so it counts as a street car.
Americancarsareslow is a complete douche bag. Im not a cocky guy at all but id have no problem putting my money where my mouth is with him. Hes an immature C U-Next-Tuesday kinda guy. And im not saying rotaries are junk..I respect anything thats put together nicely and runs fast..im just saying that putting the LS1 in this car only has positive (mechanical) effects. The only downside it has is..well there really arent any and any diehard rotary fan who says they are **** are just idiots who havent looked into it enough.
P.S If we race it will be on camera and posted on every single RX7 board reguardless of the outcome.
