But it has to be on the street right.... and from a roll? I thought honda owners were the only ones that wanted to race from a roll.

What is your aversion to racing at a legal track?

Not to take any shots, but he probably can't high performance drive in anything other than a straight-line, or rather, doesn't know the finer points of high speed braking, high speed downshifting, trail braking and proper line taking. It's fine, most people who own RX-7's don't know how anyway.

Your car can be fast on the straight-line, but on the track, you have to be fast as well.

Ill run him on the track. i have no problem with that. i was going to race from a roll and from a stop. But if it has to ONLY be on the track. sounds good to me. im confident i can beat him. i just will have to be on point with my driving. Because after all, in a straight line, all v8 guys have to do is put their foot in it, there isnt much driving. but ill do it and beat him there. And if he wants to race on the street from a roll... lol okay! :P See.... even snyper agrees ill have to do more driving.

QUOTE FROM SNYPER

I want something that I can easily drive without having to worry. Plus if any of you have ever driven a big turbo car at the track, or on the street(my 94 supra with a 67mm turbo 26psi) then you know how much of a f'n pain it is to feather in and out of the violent boost that makes the tires melt. The LS1 has a fairly steady VERY STRONG power band and you don't have to guess or try 600 diffrent launch techniques to get it right.

See.. its cheap AND easy to drive. and hes still going to get beat....

since when is a 67mm big on a supra? that is the smallest kit they make for those cars. now if you would have said a 76gts or even a gt47 i would agree that anything other then a straight line is a pita. but this is a straight line. stfu and race. benchracing is for losers.

If you cant live up to that then you should not own one. V8 owners on the other hand a V8 race car is far from a real race car.

What makes a LS6 rx7 going beat a 20B? AAHHHHH NOTHING. This is going to be one *** raping he won't forget? So confident , and yet so ignorant of the true power that will defeat him, ... bAdly. " I HAVE NEVER BEEN IN ANYTHING FASTER" 1000hp muscle cars , 800hp supras, modded Z06s, (my fd, which is pretty damn quick), I'm telling you V8 heads , i'm just trying to warn you. heh, heh, heh.
Would you just shut the **** up already? You're almost as bad as TT_Rotary. The problem with rotaries blowing up isn't all because of piston owners getting a hold of them. So there aren't people on this board who have owned the cars for years, done all the required maintenance, and still blown multiple engines? Sorry, but there are 4 members on the first page of the 3rd gen section alone who have blown engines. 3 of them are long time members, 2 of them have had multiple engines, and 1 of them even had auxilary injection installed. Yeah, it's obviously all because of the piston guys.

And only a TRUE ricer(which is what you are) will blindly think he can beat a car he knows NOTHING about.

And PLEASE explain to me how you think a car(yours) will beat another car making about 100rwhp more, weighing a few hundred pounds less, and set up specifically to go very fast in a straight line? Not to mention you said yourself you don't frequent the track, yet ive been to the drag strip over 100times. I honestly don't get your thought process here. You really think because you have a rotary that can spin to 10,000 rpms that its going to make up for everything else your car lacks(as mentioned)above?...whether it be from a roll or from a dig??? I do my research and if I knew I was going to lose I wouldn't still be talking ****....ive OBVIOUSLY been doing this alot longer than you have.(evident by the idiotic posts you make)

lol, Jersey pimp huh? (those 12 year olds on myspace must love you).Saying **** like that is the very reason I think your mother should of swallowed you.

And ill have no excuses IF I lose. If I lose, then congrats to you and ill just have to try again later with a new setup, if I win, then you'll be the one coming up with EVERY single excuse in the book why you lost and want rematches or say its bullshit, I can hear it now: "I missed a shift","The flag guy was cute and I wasn't paying attention", "I blew an apex seal","I was getting fuel cut","My tires spun too much", ect(you get the point) Your the only one bent out of shape here. I love racing. I have lost in the past and I will lose in the future. And that applies to everyone. I will help you understand what its like on the losing end this summer don't worry.

well because ive done it. ive raced plenty of camaros and mustangs etc with over 100hp more than me and still won. (383 stroker camaro w/ 200shot, makin 6 somthing) i had my 13b making 530hp. Let me guess, all those guys couldt drive right? lol please. O and have you been to the drag strip with your new set up at all ??? ( let alone 100 times) NOPE. its not even done. I dont care if youve been to the track 10000 times. It doesnt mean anything when you bring out something totally different. its going to act completely different. you should know that. did you drive your trans am the exact same way you drove your supra on the track? no. and why is that...... 2 different cars. What set up did you have on your 13b if i can ask?

Exactly why I think your an idiot. You OBVIOUSLY didn't read what I wrote or that stupid paragraph wouldn't of been typed.

1. Who gives a **** if you raced a camaro or mustang with over 100hp more? 100HP more means absolutely **** if the car is 1000lbs heavier..your forgetting your car is heavier than mine..so the advantage you had is shot to **** there. Also, "6 something" wouldn't add up to "about 100rwhp more" than yours now would it?

he had 6 something and i was makin 530ish at that time with my 13b. it was about 100hp difference. But i know about them weighing 800lbs or so heavier, i must have read one of your posts ( a few posts back) incorrectly. my car is fairly light. Im not sure if yours is lighter or not. It should be a good race then. i was figuring they should weigh in at about the same. I weighed my car on an accurate scale and it weighs 2805 without me in the car.

Wow, finally catching on. Thats all that matters. Honestly, im not out to prove that my car is faster than a rotary car, im out to have alot of fun and stomp on the local RICERS. And on the weight thing, I know an LS1 is lighter than a 20b. My car has no ABS, PS,AC,ect..I have ALOT of weight out of this thing and with the slicks/skinnies it should be even lighter. Im hopin for somewhere in the 26xx without me in the car.
