and yet another RX-7 ruined....why dont people buy a regular car and drop a V8 in, instead they buy a VERY unique car like the RX-7 and ruin the value by adding pistons!!! This is surely against one of the 10 commandments

it all depends on what you like man. In my view both are both sick.
the pure power of a monster V8, or a great handling unique rotary different from all other cars on the road. Also that price is pretty good for a finished v8 swap.

Are you all getting soft. If you want a V8 build a nova or even a v8 fiero.
The turbo rotary is so unique i couldn't imagine anything else for a motor. Plus you can make plenty of power with a rotary.

If I had the money laying around, I'd buy this car and slap RE Amemiya parts all over it just to **** off all the purists. The only cars that bother me when people put weird engines in them are old muscle cars (Tokyo Drift mustang example). If the car was made after 1980, I could care less what motor goes in it.

It's still an rx7 regardless of the motor. If your panties get all twisted up about a v8, you're a rotary fan, not an rx7 fan. If you liked the car, you'd appreciate the assloads of power that a v8 brings to the equation.
I've been through 1 N/A, and 2 tIIs, and personally I can't wait to fire up the beast again, this time, with double the torque.
but... if I had the money, I'd buy that car in a second. Very sexy.
