Bryan, another guy here in Jax, Fl just completed his his LS1 - FD conversion. It turned out great.
Just like everyone else that has driven one of these first thing they say is; "I love having torque and throttle response. "
I'm glad to see another FD saved.

It's definately a lot of fun to drive. Having the instant torque is a different experience from the rotary. Not quite as fast as my old t78 setup, but I've already got a nitrous kit to fix that problem. What amazes me is how the car really doesn't feel any different besides the different power band.

The car might not feel different, but it definitely sounds different. My friend here in Phoenix (Bill Hagen) installed a V8 in his Gen 3. I just couldn't get used to seeing FD and hearing Firebird. Different strokes....
