been welding the new downpipes that bolt to headers and are welded to old exhaust.. hangs a little closer to car then the longtubes did. might give me better clearance. if i can get the other side on and welded up i can get it running and safety etest and insure it.. that would be nice

Over the weekend, painted the fc carpet.. Yea I know.. Painted it, it actually looks really nice. The black carpet and vinyl paint covered over the shitty faded blue carpet very nice.. Also doing the door panels.. Not seats or dash cause I'd rather buy those.

got a nice pay check.. and like everyother kid i know spent it all on dumb stuff, but now my FC has a Godspeed front sway bar, 3000k foglight bulbs, new undestroyed glove box and replacement floor pedals.. next im looking at either the speedo set up or doing the bushings and tower bars. also what kind of coil overs is the greater majority running? my buddy has ISIS on his 240lsx and I like them 32way adj very low and really stiff. but 800$. curious what other people are using.

Godspeed sway bar, hyperflex bushing kit and new distributor came in and cars going for safety and etest. winter coming might need rebuild on motor and what ever suspension i dont get to this year..
curious if anyone has ever done a custom v8 power steering pump to the stock lines? a buddy doing a 240LSx told me that the pump on his 5.3L would blow the lines off the rack due to the preasure it was pushing. cars not bad without power steering but i was just curious if anyone had because im sure one day ill get sick of my little momo wheel and no powersteering.
and theres a wing for the FC that i want to try to get my hands on, looks like a whale tail but not the formula wings. If I can find a picture ill post one up.

was trying to finish the subframe and have it installed back on the car for this weekend but... when putting the rear arms back on i dropped the subframe onto my hand ripping my finger up a little.. also waiting on a set of ARP extended wheel studs for the rear hubs and i would love to get ahold of a turbo2 diff and axels but where i live there are like 3 rx7s and we don't want to give the good stuff away..
also has anyone cut there springs temporarily. i plan on ordering coil overs either ISIS or PBM but dont have that cash atm.
any one do this?

While I have been re-assembling the car I have been thinking of problems that I seen and thinking how to fix them. I have fixed the e-brake and I have fixed a bad brake line. I have been also looking into replacing the rear pads and rotors, possibly the rear caliper itself. While I have been looking at this I have noticed that it is hard to find a rear rotor for the non vented calipers. do most people just replace the caliper with the turbo or GXL caliper? I would rather upgrade to a dual pot caliper like 240sx guys do with the 300zx rear calipers, but ill do what ever is manageable. I have also been thinking about replacing the rear sway bar with the GODSPEED sway bar and replacing the bushings in the mounts to stiffen them up. The Powered by Max subframe went in a little easier then expected which is always good. It was very heavy tho so my flashy gold paint is scratched, although I am sure it will look worse once I start to drive the car next year.
Still looking into Coilovers either Powered by Max or ISIS.. and slowly working away, hoping to get it back in one piece so I can tow it and store it in my parents garage over the winter. And then put it back on stands so my Father cant push it out into the snow.
