i also heard of some guy on the rx8 club making 228rwhp on a rx8. even though its a renesis, its still a 13b just with a little higher compression and a bigger streetport. it also has a stricker exhaust port so why shouldnt any other 13b make that kind of power?

260 at the crank is different than 260 at the wheels.
I was originially aiming for 250 at the wheels for my setup, but I figured a semi-pp would probably be better for the money that I was going to spend. My orginal goal was to have the highest hp in an NA non-bridge/peri 2 rotor engine RX-7 in an FR layout.

The Silent but Deadly Mod

The idea is simple:
Start with the best block for making NA power
Maximize the efficiency of:
Intake
Exhaust
Port Work
Airflow
Combustion
etc....
Minimize power robbing aspects of the engine
Finally, proper standalone and an aggressive fuel and timing tune.
Basics that should be pretty much followed anytime you do a mod, it's the part and modification choices that make the potential.
