Other things that help keep my boost at 10psi+ 'til redline are my excellent WG port, my 80mm DP/MP and dual 60mm N1's, my 3" TID and my Profec-B EBC.

none of those things will help a turbo hold boost til redline. turbos, usually stock ones, drop boost because they cant physically keep up and flow enough and to hold up the higher boost in the upper-RPM range.
s4's usually dont bleed off boost as bad as the s5's, but they also dont make as much power, particularly in the midrange.
the moral of the story is buying EBC's and nice exhaust, and porting the wastegate and stuff isnt going to make the turbo physically able to displace more air hell, you could probably weld the wastegate shut and it'll still drop boost by the time it gets to redline

The WG port allows for no spikes, meaning that I can turn the boost up without having to worry about a 15psi spike. What I'm saying is, before the new WG port, if I set my boost to "8psi", it would actually go up to 15psi, meaning that it would be back down to 8psi at redline... NOW, I can turn the boost controller up to 12psi, and because there's no spike--it'll hold 12psi to redline.
About the exhaust and TID: When I was running my stock cat (to pass emissions) the boost would drop significantly more in the higher RPM's--because it was (obviously) choking out the turbo. Same with when I was running my 60mm DP/MP and stock TID. Now I'm running an 80mm DP/MP and 3" TID and it drops like 1psi around redline(compared to like 5psi before).
Also, my EBC has a "balance" control, which according to Greddy helps prevent over-boosting and "hunching" (unstable boost)--which ties into my first point I suppose.
But yeah, I don't really care about the technical aspect of what I'm saying--I'm merely speaking from my personal and practical experience.

Didn't have the problem before when the engine was basically stock... would only lose ~1psi.
Now with the streetport and higher compression rotors, it just can't keep up.
I don't have any emissions crap on it, and the TID is a 3" with no AFM (Haltech controlled car). No cat on the car, but the exhaust is a little on the small side (RP55). I'm also running a Greddy Profec B Spec II.
I just never had this problem this bad before, maybe it's time to upgrade this stock S5 turbo to a hybrid... and I'm already planning on the racing beat turbo back exhaust.

I'm doing my 4 port 13bt w/ 9.4:1 rotors and a little tiny streetport. will have an h-trim hybrid and should be interesting to say the least.

Great numbers for such a basic set-up. I haven't quite familiarized myself with the fc yet, but \ those numbers do impress! Being that you dyno'ed on a dynamics, you should be able to compare yours to mine: http://static.flickr.com/48/120048715_52e3e7390a_b.jpg I've done basically everything you can to dc5 n/a before touching the bottom end. Which wasn't cheap let me tell you. I've been looking at fc's for quite some time now. The t2's are a great platform, I envy you folks.
