You made almost 300whp at 10psi on a bnr stage 1 with a s4 engine with stock ports?

i find that a little hard to believe at 10psi with stock ports and 8.5:1 compression...

Yes with stock ports, well I believe to be stock ports. Everything about the motor was stock when I dropped it in. It is a jspec that I dropped in Dec 2002 and I've had the turbo since July 03. I just went to the dyno in Sept 06 and it put down the same power of 295 at 10-11psi.

I don't know what there is not to believe. Do you want to me to show you more dyno sheets maybe even some time slips.

Thread I started some time back.

I'm pretty much looking for the differences between the different stages and setups.

I am going to run a stage 2 on my car. Am still debating clipped stock turbine wheel vs p trim.
My engine is 9.4:1 and pretty worked over so I'm thinking the P-trim will help get out all of that energy a little better.

thats great for stock ports and 10psi though

basically any of the typical compressor upgrades over stock is amazing. don't even need a comp housing, but every little bit helps

I have a stock s5 turbo currently. Here is my dyno.

I'm just trying to figure out the best BNR stage to go with that won't have ungodly amounts of lag.

At a lot more than 10psi also.

I usually like to look at numbers for what a setup can do every day running around on the streets, not just on the dyno or track w/ race gas

I'm trying to remember if I've seen other dyno sheets for BNR turbo's and I want to say I've seen a sheet floating around for a stage 3 at around 340 horse, but I don't remember the setup.

I'm sure there are other people on here who have dynoed there cars, but I think alot of them are just post shy.

If I had to do it over again I would've gone with a Stage 3. I've heard the spool is still decent with it.

stage 4 12 psi 302 hp.

their was still a lot more kinks to work out of the car back then. which are now better im boosting 17 psi now and cant wait to get back to dyno for some more tuning.

I'm making 230whp with 11.5 afr and 11 split at 13psi on a stock s5 turbo. you need to get your afr tunes badly because they shouldn't be jumping like, you get really super lean and could blow your motor based on those afr readings. do you have a wideband in your car or are you just going by the afr reader at the dyno? when i dyno'd the afr meter was reading a full points higher then the wideband in my downpipe.

As much as your AFRs are jumping I'm surprised your power curve is so smooth. But it could be alot higher. I'm going to up the boost in my car to 15psi, and adjust the split to 10* at 15psi and I should be hitting 250whp on the stock turbo, stock tmic

yes i know about that. hence why i said their where still a lot of kinks.

the person i had to do the initial tune did not setup the stage properly and i have addressed that problem. as well as many others he messed up.

i'm shooting for about 350ish rwhp at 15lbs with my stage 3, i have a stage 2 street port, greedy fmic kit, racing beat turbo back exhaust, apexi power FC, apexi acvr boost controller, custom intake, 1600cc secondaries, with krd fuel rail, aeromotive fpr, walboro 255 fuel pump, and probably some other ****, sound resonable?
