Why such large injectors, no fuel pump to push them?

Why so much fuel at only 12psi? its way too rich near redline..?

sounds like over kill..whats the A/F ratios?

Why is the pressure dropping to 6 ?

something a miss here..your input?

sounds about right for that amount of power, i was running 750/1000cc injectors at like 80% d/c when i was making 250whp on the stocker

Holy **** are you serious? I pushed 350whp with a t04-S, 750/1000 combo at 78%DC on an E6X

to the OP - that sounds like really good power for that boost level and mods...I've never seen a stock turbo FC make it over the 260whp mark in person, and at 12psi, thats almost unbelivable. Post the graph please Also, the TQ is MONTSTROUS. The last 250whp stock turbo FC I saw put down a little over 200TQ IIRC...so thats pretty wild.

The small DP size and the fact he is still running a cat..that would be a good cause for the PSI to drop off like that.?

unless I was reading something wrong..

wonder why no graph was posted with it....

The stock turbo was built for stockports. Boost will fall off with even a modest streetport as it eats more air.

car has a walbro 255lph.

also running 9s in leading and trail. the car has no cat...a racing beat presilencer instead.

and yes my injectors are overkill, nothing wrong with that. AFR was rich in the lower rpm ~10.9 and lean in the upper ~11.6. i smoothed out the fuel ratio after the dyno run.

heres a crappy pic of the graph. notice the motor didn't go all the way to 7...the turbo is choking it pretty hard up there.

Impressive. What are the miles on the motor? Compression?

Nice curve! why is it over 1 year old..?

Porting the turbo housings and manifold, would this allow for any increase in PSI at the higher rpm level?

Or is it a waste of time?

I built 2 other engines almost exactly the same as yours, except extensive porting of the manifold and housings..Just curious for my own notes..

date on the camera is wrong, sorry haha.

motor has around 3,000 miles on it. havn't checked compression lately...

if anything clipping the wheel would help a little with the psi dropoff.

this is almost hard for me to believe but i guess its possible. the tq curve looks crazy but being in a low altitude like florida and with cooler january weather im sure its doable.

actually it looks really similar to my buddies graph with stock turbo.

Heh, well considering were actually in the middle of a cold front right now, i guess thats always possible. Was 40 degrees out the other night, thats FREEZING here... But I guess it is good dyno'ing weather...

Yeah yeah, were not use to the cold weather down here.

89 octane..whats your secret?

I have a turbo piston car and I get detonation on 93 octane @ 15 psi. I added a larger intercooler that allowed me to run up 22 psi, after that I have to run 110, mixed with the 93, that allows me to run up to 32 psi..with no blown parts..

Do you think you would get less power with a higher octane?, since you seem to running pretty good on the lower stuff?

I am still taking notes, thank you for being so open and honest..rare traits to have these days..My hat is off to you sir!

previous owner of my T2 got 250rwhp/250rwtq on stock turbo at like 13psi. it had a similar powerband... pretty much fell on its face at 5500 rpm, but torquey and responsive

This is very suprising. Even if your car can run on 89 why would you risk it at the dyno?
