Hey Manny. VERY impressive dyno chart, too bad it looks kinda like a rim sitting next to your car. I think you posted the wrong pic.

In case you can't read this (cuz it's too small):

370.9 rwhp @ 7000 rpm
304.7 rwtq @ 5750 rpm
16 psi boost

Thanks, silver3rdgen

Have you tried dyno without the HKS Twin Power to see where you start getting breakup and dropoff? I'm trying to see how big of a difference it makes as you get up to the high RPMs.

Thats very impressive! My SR stage II only made 392rwhp@16lbs on a mustang dyno. Almost wish that I would'nt have gone single. Anyways, very nice numbers once again. CJ

Its also nice to see somone using a mustang dyno vs a dynojet. Its been my experience that mustangs usually read around 10% lower than dynojets.

The before HKS Twin Power dyno is posted on the Open Tracking website http://opentracking.com/ChalkedOutLi...t%203Jan04.jpg Big difference in rwhp. Break up started around 6000 rpm. I highly recommend you get some sort of dual channel capacitive discharge ignition amp, if you want trouble-free high rwh. Thanks and good luck!

Thanks, CJ I ran door-to-door with a T04S single turbo/Pineapple raceport-powered FD (radkins) during a 4th gear pull. The kicker was that I had 200-lb passenger shooting video. Needless to say radkins was scratching his head, since his car put down 435 rwhp on the same Mustang Dyno.

FWIW, I'm scheduled to dyno on a DynoJet chassis dyno with the Indy SVTOA May 8. It'll be fun showing the V8 supercharged SN95 Cobras that 1.3 liters with sequential twins can hang LOL

I'll be sure to post the graph.

Best of luck!

OMG.... 30rwhp difference because of ignition amplifier ?
Is it worth getting one for a stock ported engine and turbos running at 13psi ?

Very nice numbers !
Do you run stock primaries ?

Yes

Very nice numbers!
Thanks

Do you run stock primaries?
Yes, stock 550-cc primaries, but 1300-cc secondaries (which are bored-out 850-cc stockers)

Have not had any problems with mine. Have had them for over a year. I've seen the thread where a set of 1300-cc (bored-out 850 ccs) were blamed for an engine failure. I have not read all the posts, but I'm skeptical, and will not let one negative thread have me doubting my 1300-cc secondaries. Thanks for your wishes of good luck though.

Dyno'd on Kenny Brown's DynoJet chassis dyno.

284 rwhp with 15 psi boost setting and 259 rwhp on with the 12 psi boost setting. No torque signal at all.

Air intake temp was 50 C. Ambient air temp was 78 F with high humidity.

Apparently? The loss in power must be due to the heat and humidity of last Saturday's run on the DynoJet?? The 370 rwhp dyno run was in March on Rx7 Store's Mustang Dyno. Ambient temp was 50 F. Air intake temp was 35 C. At least I know that during a warm, humid day, the motor's only making 280 rwhp @ 15 psi, and 250 rwhp @ 12 psi. Explains why my runs down the 1320 were a second slower than I expected, when the ambient conditions on the drag strip were about the same as last Saturday's DynoJet run--rwhp was definitely down...@ the drag strip, which correlates well with KB's DynoJet rwhp numbers from last Saturday.

Oh man, I thought it was a typo hence the smiley. Is everything alright with it. Thats a pretty big drop for a little heat. What traps did it run?

Oh yes, the car's fine. Traps were ~108 to 109 mph. I'm not the greatest drag racer, as many of the locals will attest...mostly b/c I granny launch (gentler on the driveline). Air intake temps (taken from the manifold) were 55 to 60 C during the drags...heat soaked all to hell. Not sure I'd lend much weight to the Kenny Brown DynoJet numbers. KB's tech could not get a good ignition signal. The signal was quite poor actually. Will need to verify numbers at another DynoJet chassis dyno shop that can get better ignition signals?
