thats very good your engine is in great health

I did about the same time with a much cheaper route (leaving stock fuel except for fuel pump which I dont think I needed, stock intercooler, and a manual boost valve I made... and a lot less boost. pettit 3mm streetported motor, pettit ecu, intake, dp, mp, cb, supra pump, 11psi poormans non seq

same gas and tools as you...I had just gone non seq 1 hour before the track opened and was rushing to get there

12.8@112 2.2 60 time on kumho supra tires and a stock clutch

you did real well though, your car is faster than some single cars on here

Wow, that car is running great! Especially considering that it's been through hell and back.

You got a good 60', your 1/8th mile time and mph matches up, but a 12.6 with all those mods and 15psi. Congrats on the new best time but your car should be making alot of power and should be in the 11's.

I have to agree with GsrSol here. That's a great 60ft... but, the 1/4 time seem slow. I've run a 12.78 with a lot less mods, stock motor, seq twins, and 13psi. Get new tires. What were the conditions at the track?

Time looks ok, I would think it would be a little faster. Bolt some E/T streets on and watch the times drop to the 11's. My 12.3 was run at 11 psi 2.0 60ft

yeah Im having probs setting up my profec b spec 2. I was only hitting 15 psi at the end of 3rd and part of 4th. the rest of the run was lower at around 11 as well, but since thats the highest it hit, thats what I posted. I know the car is faster, Im just having probs with this boost controller.

and yeah I need new tires for sure. these are the ones that the car was sitting on while it was being fixed for like 10 months. I really had to regulate the throttle at the track to keep what traction I did in 1st.

on the street they really suck, no traction in 1st or 2nd.

Here are a couple of baselines. These are with a lot of practice and being pretty aggressive and fast with shifts. If you like to be gentle perhaps add a couple tenths back in.

Completely stock with even stock tires. 13.36

Main Cat and Muffler replaced with 3" crush bent pipe, no other mods. 12.67

Early ASP IC, an old gold PFS computer, race gas, full exhaust, stock sequential turbos, Crane Hi6, 11.5 plugs, ~16psi boost, manual boost control, cosmo fuel pump, battery in bins, cheapie intake with K & N's, centerforce clutch, heated 02 for the leaded gas and 305/40 16 M & H's on stock rims. 11.77 at around 118mph or so.

Change to ported non sequential stock turbos, 4 x 850 injectors, some lightening, better air intake setup, a number of other minor things I'm sure I can't remember now. 11.13 @ 125mph.

All these were on the stock motor that was never blown, freshened up or even unbolted from the motor mounts. I beat the snot out of it for about 4 or 5 years straight including running the One Lap etc. I pulled it to convert to a bridge port afterwards and have never really dialed it in since the problem with compressor bypass lunching one of the turbos.

Those times are also uncorrected at a fairly high altitude track so subract 2 or 3 tenths for sea level.

Those should give you some benchmarks of where your car should be performance wise with baseline mods. Like I said I did have tons of practice from racing every weekend and was pretty aggressive so you may want to adjust your time a bit.

Sitting in my unheated lower garage waiting to have it's turbo's put back on and get new headlights made. With two new kids, a big web project with work, working on a second degree amongst other stuff I never managed to finish waterproofing, sheet rocking and putting a heating system into my lower garage where the car stuff is. Winter came and it's cold cold down there in Minnesota. Should do it in spring though.

on the street tires, what rpm are you guys launching at to get the best 60' times? I can't seem to get over the fear of dropping my differential on the track if I take it up to 6000 and drop it.

I wouldn't bother trying on hard side wall tires, you're going to do nothing but cause damage. Buy a pair of stock used rims and mount something like M & H Dot tires on. You'll launch well and they'll absorb all the shock instead of your driveline. They fit inside the car too if I remember right.
