My concern would be how short of a life. I can't see getting more than 20-40k out of them. My first set was toast at 80K and change with no mods. It's just not a durable design to begin with IMO. If I wasn't in the mist of single conversion, this would have inspired me to try it.

Hey Tom, I know "of you". I guess you know my buddy George. Now you have 3 friends with RX7s.
I've been to PRP a few times, but mostly with just a few bolt ons. I think I was running high 12s, on shitty Nitto street tires, spinning half way down the track. Haven't been back in a couple years since I fried my clutch (stock) up there and limped home. I want to get back and see how quick the car is with BNR stage 3s and Mickey Thompsons and a bunch of other stuff. Although, I seriously need a tune. I'm pretty much set up for Auto X now. But I'm sure I'll be headed up there this year. Give me a heads up if you're planning a trip to PRP of Beaver Run this year. Maybe we can meet up.
Oh, my name is Joshua and I'm in Carnegie.

Thanks for the feedback. Ya it may shorten the life of them, but fact is they will make more power with the extra boost if everything is setup right like my car, and they are not too expensive or hard to find a good replacement set as I have done a couple times, it's been worth it. "Running 50/50 Sunoco GT100 race gas & 93 pump gas. My tune.", timing maps tuned a little more aggressive for race gas and same amount of boost.

That's cool, good to talk to and know someone local with a rx7. Is that George that I used to work with? I would also be interested in meeting up at prp and seeing you run, and I should try to get to beaver run, I've never done anything else besides drag racing it. I race BMX locals and nationals so that takes up most of my time.
We have some insane fast speed boats that we run on occasion that take up a ton of our time too. If you're ever just out cruising on a weekend and in the vicinity of the South Hills send a PM before you head out, and we can always meet up just to B.S.

Every once in a while we go for a cruise through South Park. It's not like it used to be though.

Props Tom. Like everyone else said... must be a record. I knew you'd do it. Good job, and I'm blown away that this almost 20 year old car can make those kind of numbers. You should take some footage from inside the car showing your shifting/technique, would like to see how you do it so well.

Glad to see you finally did it. This is a great day for the RX7 community in showing what the stock twins are truly capable of.
Just to clarify, the previous record holder for stock turbos was forum member Boostn7 - 10.98 @ 122.9mph
He also has the power record at 402rwhp
So what's next then? Going for the power record?

Wow, Nice run! How do you like the Tilton clutch flow control valve ? Never heard of it, what size valve did u go with, and did you have to do any adjustments with it. Is it good for street driving?

Thanks. Ya I like it, I only did two runs with it but it seems nice so I don't have to manually try to slip the clutch a little like I used to do, which I was inconsistent at times. This makes it easier. I used the middle orifice size, .028 I think it is. I started out with the largest size and switched to the middle size. Ya It's good for street driving too.

I would like to go to prp next time you go up just to get to meet ya and talk about these cars some. im pretty new to rotary but not to cars. ive been reading up alot on these cars, the more i read, the more i want to talk and learn straight from someone like you

Thanks. Good to hear from someone local, we should meet up and talk about the cars and I could give you some help and advice, when I bought mine it was almost stock.
Little update on the car, after blowing my primary turbo (more about that here) at the track on my 3rd run of the year after getting a 1.48 60 ft time which would have for sure beat my best time, I decided to finally go single turbo (after first wanting to get another set of twins or bnr's). Now I'm tuning with a T04R single, another cold air intake for it and adding my aem water injection kit pre turbo with the newer better pump and nozzle. I hope to be able to make alot more power and go alot faster. It was a good run with the stock turbos and no regrets, it was just time for something new and more power potential.

Thanks. Bnr's sequential would be really nice, but going back from a single would be some work Haha. And seems kinda pointless to go to bnr's non sequential unless you need twins for inspection or something like that.
