fronts are 15x7 with 225/50/15 cannot go any wider as they rub on the oversized swaybar at full lock
rears are 15x8 with 245/50/15 can go wider with a rim that has more backspace so it won't stick out more.
rims i bought from summitracing they're a cheap steel wheel 6 lug for $25. And heavy, fronts weigh 25lbs, rears 27.
for autocrossing, i'm looking at buying 16x7.5 aluminum with Kumho V71- 215/40/16
i have autorcrossed this truck for the last 3 years, a few times a year. needs a lot of work to get it anywhere near competetive but boy is it a HOOT. the wider rear tires REALLY helped with oversteer.[/QUOTE]
what would be the best offset for stock repu with no aftermarket sway bars?

60 series tires on the repu...
i had dunlop gt qualifier 235/60/14 and it was a real nice size. the tires stuck out a little but it was a good look. love the lops!!! they stuck okay for a T rated tire. T rated. Not even H rated! They are not an autocross tire, tried it and it was an exercise in squealing, sliding, and tail wagging.
they rode a lot more comfortably than the z rated 50 series on the truck now.

you can also do a 195/60/15

positive of negative offset? what's the backspace and not all aluminum wheels are light. i've seen some al 15x7s weigh 22 lbs. remember this is for trucks and the rims are generally thicker all the way around.
and what size tire? a 225/50/15 needs 3.75" of backspace to fit up front
205/50 or 55 only needs 4" - 4.125" backspace
